This is who they wanted Robin Strasser to play. You can imagine what that picture would have looked like.

She looks like Courtney Sherman. Or a gossip reporter.

Dorian was a much stronger character than Cathy in the long run but I wish Cathy hadn't just faded away.

Near the end of this AMC there's a promo I'd never seen before - it has Carla and Ed. It's at about 50 minutes.

One question about the OLTL promo....if this AMC episode is (Friday, February 15, 1980), the OLTL promo is for this same day or for the contrary, the OLTL promo is for the next day episode (Monday, February 18, 1980). AS I know the time slot for these soaps was AMC , then OLTL, and finally GH.

Thanks for the answers

Thanks. I'd never seen this. Tony/Cathy/Pat seemed to be one of those stories which didn't have a big following...

Some of the magazines back then tried to write up a Reinholt/Kavanaugh romance, probably because they'd run out of Reinholt/Courtney stories long before.

It seems like they tried to make Cathy look much more mainstream with Jennifer Harmon.

Robin definitely made the right decision, but looking at those pictures is like seeing Ted Shackelford with Judith Chapman. So close yet so far away.
