Who was Ted #1 again?

Wow he's flaming away.

That's Keith Charles. He worked on such 1960s and 1970s soap operas as As the World Turns (Ralph Mitchell, 1977-1979, 1988-1994), The Edge of Night (Rick Oliver, 1966), The Secret Storm (Nick Kane, 1968-1970), Love of Life (Dr. Ted Chandler 1974-1975), Search for Tomorrow, and Where the Heart Is (Robert Jardin, 1972).[2] He also worked onThe Guiding Light/Guiding Light three times in three different roles (Professor Alexander "Alex" McDaniels, 1974-1975, Dr. Frank Nelson, 1980-1981 and Brandon Spaulding, 1984). From 1986-1989, he played Roger's butler,  Homer Dowd on Ryan's Hope.

The wife of Keith Charles was Nancy Ford.  She was a writer for Ryan's Hope, Love of Life, and As the World Turns.

It's always nice to see more video material with Jacqueline Courtney, who was so great as Pat Kendall. (But, um...not so convincing as Maggie Ashley, alas.)

My favorite part of the scenes was the conversation between Brad and Katrina. It feels so "real," and the two characters both represent what made OLTL different from all the other soaps.

What was the story behind Keith Charles being replaced? Was it lack of chemistry with Erika? He looks like Ivan Kipling with that moustache...

Viki sporting that Julie Andrews hairdo.Interesting that the heroine of the show was hardly a glamor girl.I wonder if TBTB tried to get Erika to go with a softer look (considering it was the early 80's and all the shows were glamming up)

I dunno but his replacement only lasted 5-6 months and then Ted was killed

One of my favorite scenes in the last ten years of the show, and a big part of why I loved Viki and Charlie so much. This was right after Victor Jr./Todd was arrested for Marty's abduction and rape. I'm not sure who wrote these scenes, but they were incredibly raw, honest and beautiful.
