A very sweet anecdote from last year's Locher Room with the Cramer women (which KDP indicates she was as sick of hearing forced into the scripts every day as I was, in addition to Robin Strasser always getting them together BTS to 'Cramer-ize' the scripts as she called it): Kristen Alderson, among others, has stayed close with Robin and stayed at her place in NY weekly for a year while doing off-Broadway not long ago. Robin woke her up each morning by singing at the top of her lungs. She also drove Robin across PA and NYC to get her COVID vaccine.

Interesting answer she gave regarding Eric Braden (at 54:40). Speaking of Robin and Dorian, how lovingly she spoke of Victor in the 1977 episode, makes it hard to believe she covered up Victor being a child molester for all those years.

Sorry to see Carla go. Sad scene with Ed.

Paul Rauch was awful to Ellen Holly and fired her. Ellen deserved better. I read Ellen's book.

For as many good things that Paul Rauch did, there are plenty of black marks on his record & Ellen Holly is definitely one of the earliest ones.

Changing the subject, ...

I am looking at credits for the Director/Producer Jorn H. Winther & I readliy find AMC, SB, GEN & Rituals. But then I read in an article in the Hollywood Reporter, upon his death:

Quote

He later spent more than five years as an executive producer and director on ABC’s One Life to Live and helmed episodes of other soap operas including ABC’s All My Children and NBC’s Another World and Santa Barbara.

From <https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/jorn-winther-dead-director-landmark-david-frost-richard-nixon-interviews-was-88-1162181/>

And I've found a picture of him that shows both OLTL & AMC as the backdrop.

Now, sure enough I did find him listed as a Director for AW. But I find absolutely nothing for OLTL. Is anyone aware of his being involved at any time at OLTL? Of course, it can just be an error in the article, ... Thanks for any assistance.

Gosh, now I'd love to see her and Braeden in something together...they would despise each other! :D

Carla's LAST Episode

Was this really her last episode? It just seems so underwhelming to have her exit like that, even if Rauch orchestrated it this way.

I'm glad she's surfaced in a few of these 1985 uploads. For as depressing as it is, knowing what was happening behind the scenes with Ellen during all this, It's just nice when we see her appear in these episodes. I wish there were more complete years with her available, even 1983-1985.

It's a very somber, downbeat and candid series of scenes - a C-storyline, but very honest and sad about the slow death of their relationship. But I avoid that account tbh because the owner seems like an opportunist [!@#$%^&*]-talking in the comments, and I suspect some of the content is appropriated from other people and re-titled to make it look like exclusives.

There are a fair amount of Carla eps from the '80s floating around online, including I think a couple featuring the quad with her, Ed, Phylicia Rashad's character and Roger Hill's football player, who Holly apparently was involved with IRL. She didn't think much of that 'silly little' storyline in her book. There's also a couple '78 or '80 ones with her and Jack Scott.

This is before my time. But the guy that uploaded the episode claims it's her last episode. Carla certainly deserved better than this hastily written exit. That felt like an afterthought.

Yep. This was Carla's exit. Disgraceful for a character and an actress who was so pivotal in the show's history. It was all Rauch and he dictated the brutal exit.

Yes, as soon as I saw those comments I decided to never go there again.

In other news, here's a brief interview with Brynn Thayer (from 1988) about her short-lived show TV 101, which had quite a cast (even if they seem to think Stacey Dash is a very different person than she is or was). It's around 14 minutes in.

Are @essmhtvny165 and @BetweenHeavenAndHellOLT the same person? Some of the material does look familiar. In a very subtle indirect way. I'm being made to feel like i committed some minor offense. By posting the links.

I don't know who they are, or if they have another account. I certainly don't begrudge anyone posting the links. Many people enjoy them.

During the Pre-Nom Era of the Emmys Did We have access To The Reels submitted??? I was wondering because I just found out that Kassie Wesley DePaiva was Pre-Nominated Almost Every Year between 2003 to 2012, I wondered what work she submitted!
