Members dragonflies
Daytime Confidential BLIND ITEM: It didn't take long for this former West Coast soap princess to find a new gig. Just a few, short months after news broke she was leaving daytime, the thesp has booked one of this fall's hottest drama pilots. Expect the news to drop any day now... I bet it's Melissa Claire Egan

Members UKBoi
Has to be MCE. Shame the CW's Melrose Place incarnation didn't stick around longer, she'd have been perfect on that! I wonder, could she be headed to the much buzzed about "Good Christian Bitches"?
Members Jonathan
The first person I thought of was Shannon Kane. MCE /= ingenue She look so much older than she really is.
Members OLTL_fan
Thats the first pilot that came to my mind.
Members Cheap21
I thought Shannon Kane but she has a blossoming movie career thats just picking up. I dont see her putting that on hold to do another tv show, at least not this soon. She's a Tyler Perry star now and that alone will guarantee her a few roles in a couple of films
Members dragonflies
Well it was posted as "Soap Ingenue" but also saw it as "soap princess" LOL
Members Cheap21
What other west coast actresses recently left? It could be Shelley Henning from Days
Members SFK
I only watch AMC and OLTL, but could "princess" be some sort of clue or just a general term like "diva" in this case? I also wouldn't call MCE or SK an ingenue, Colby's the closest thing AMC has to a fortysomething ingenue.
Members Soapsuds
I just found it...its a Fox comedy.
