Well for Sharon it is appropriate...considering the woman has been acting like a complete jackass, riding everything in sight - immediate family members are a rule not the exception :lol: , I find her getting close to a vetenarian pretty ironic. It has been well over 6 months since Sharon has faced a disaster of her own making..I think she is due. Apparently Sharon getting stronger just meant she was getting stronger at being stupid. I am so sick of this character being written as tragic and put-upon - can't they write something different for once...OYE!!!

And that the poor wounded animal needs to be nursed back to health by a guy.

Don't get me wrong, I love romance. Most people are social animals (no pun intended) we need people and human connection to sustain us, support us, love us. However, when it comes to the traumas Sharon has sustained (Cassie's death, losing her husband, deep depression, stealing, nameless sex as a substitute for comfort), even surrounded by loved ones, she will need to come to terms with herself, what she has been through and the things she has done (whether willingly or not). And she's going to have to dig deep and do it by herself.

... that is, if TPTB were writing her as an actual character instead of a plot point.
