The place she falls flat is with EJ, which makes me wonder why TPTB are bothering to pursue this part of her story. What is it with EJ and Sami - they have to have everyone in the age range either related to them or infatuated with them? Spread it around already.

That's why it bothered me, too. Sami is a two-time rape victim. You'd think she would be like, "Um, I've been raped twice, excuse me for being a little 'sensitive' about this." Obviously EJ wouldn't have given Rafe2 the exact same backstory there, so the disparity could have been interesting. I do like that Sami is not coming off like a moron here, and she basically thinks her marriage is over because she can't be with this man, but that missed opportunity (same with the Jen/Peter reference they could have worked in) drove me a little bonkers.

I liked the Kate/Sami scenes yesterday a lot, but I don't like how the show is describing Lucas as this incredibly busy dad who has people taking care of Allie while he works. IMO Lucas was a pretty good father and I don't buy him being like that with Allie back in Japan.

I find Fay to be a breath of fresh air within this completely rank Taylor/EJ/Nicole mess. I'm glad we've been seeing her more and I hope she becomes more heavily recurring. I'd like to see her run into Abe at some point, to. Get her out of that vortex of suck sometimes & branch her out in Salem again.

I'm sorry but I just don't care about Brady & Victors rivalry. Talk about boring. And I really can't stand Eric Martsolf as Brady anymore. He just plays Brady as a plain joke...I'm beyond over evil, careless Brady.

I think the thing with Lucas is he has a lot of duties in japan and has to support himself and his kids now, unlike before where Kate basically paid for everything. He cant much afford to become a stay at home dad and a sinlge parent.

Brady & Victor is another thing that almost works. But doesnt. I feel bad for Eric because the writing for Brady is awful, like worse than most. He is the addict who fell of the wagon and is a drunk now and nobody really cares. So the over the top, assholeness works for me.

Tams is amazing, but even if she wasnt it would still be a major upgrade for natalia. Someone needs to tell her eye bulging, blinking a lot, being puty, and talking like shes 4 does not make for a woman in lust.

I honestly see little to no chem with Ari and obviously none with James. The issue is Taylor was brought in FOR ej. So to have no chem between the actors isnt a good thing, and they have nobody else to pair him with. WHy they feel the need to pair him with anyone is beyond me, they can not sell him as a romantic man right now. so give up. even with martsolf though, who shes ok with, they are far from great.

Yeah, it is a nightmare. When she showed up last time it was entertaining for a week, but then it became torture.

I will take any of Tam's acting tics over listening to Natalia breathe heavily, sound like she's orgasming from a kiss, and constantly looking constipated.

The only way I can endure NL's Taylor is to think of her scenes as comic relief. April 26 can't arrive soon enough.
