March 1, 201115 yr Member I think so I'd probably have a heart attack if I lived anywhere else and had to pay more for things like milk and hamburger(which to me is high here LOL) Edited March 1, 201115 yr by dragonflies
March 2, 201115 yr Member I think so I'd probably have a heart attack if I lived anywhere else and had to pay more for things like milk and hamburger(which to me is high here LOL) I'm in SW Ohio...what is hamburger everywhere else? BTW, gas today was 3.29 and milk is often 2 for $4, but regularly is just over 2$.
March 2, 201115 yr Member I'm in SW Ohio...what is hamburger everywhere else? BTW, gas today was 3.29 and milk is often 2 for $4, but regularly is just over 2$. Hamburger in my part of Central Ohio varies from $1.99 a pound to about $2.49 a pound
March 3, 201115 yr Author Member That sh-t jumped 10 cents and is now $3.39. I need to fill up tomorrow before it gets higher
March 3, 201115 yr Member Well you wouldn't want to buy here in Aust. It is about $1.39 a litre and when converted to gallons it works out to be $5.26 or $5.19 US$
March 4, 201115 yr Author Member $46 to fill up my car yesterday at $3.39. Yikes! That was the cheapest as many others in the area are like $3.49 and higher
March 4, 201115 yr Member It's $3.49 here Guess I'll be hoofing it to places that are close instead of wasting gas
March 4, 201115 yr Member It did go up. I went to the store yesterday and looked at the prices at the gas station next to it. $3.49 right now. Make it stop. Good Lord, make it stop! My idiot brother still won't sell his pick-up truck. And, it took him $85 to fill it the other day. Looks like we are in the same boat DF. Ohio and Central KY are the same right now when it comes to gas. Edited March 4, 201115 yr by weareclouds
March 5, 201115 yr Member I don't have a car at the moment, and I managed to hold onto my free bus pass, so I'm set. But I don't think I'd be complaining after seeing the Brits take it in the ass when it comes to gas. I mean, [!@#$%^&*]. But yeah, as soon as the Middle East makes up their mind on what's going one OPEC should have more room to negotiate prices. Right now, we're all at their mercy.
