Good god, the dialogue between Rev. Ricky and that evil chick with the bad spray-on tan is just absolutely atrocious. I missed the early part of the show. Who wrote today's episode?

It's cause they're trying to hammer home Ricky is the evul, and Griffin the hero

Yeah I get that :) but there's got to be a more subtle way to do that. How dumb do they think we are?

It's ridiculous, they are going way Over The Top with the "EVILL Ricky" stuff. We get it Ricky is EVILL and Griffin is the GREATEST. They are erasing away like any humanity that some of us thought Ricky had. And they are not even giving him feelings/or really any reasons for what he's doing. Besides him not wanting to go to jail. Even some of the worst of villians get to have feelings/have motivations for their actions. This is crappy writing, IMO.

Wendie Malick was pretty terrific. But then again, I've always loved her, even all the way back on that HBO series Dream On. Seeing her do her thing really hammered in for me how much I miss the comedy aspect that was such a part of AMC for so long...well, intentional comedy, that is :) Everything doesn't always have to be so angsty 24-7.
