Who's the mammy looking nurse in today's eppy. I know she sure as hell isn't on contract but do they regularly show her in hospital scenes? I'm surprised DAYS would even cast someone who looks like her considering she's not their beautiful Caucasian in the 24-35 age range.

Thats Maxine and she appears quite a bit. Unlike Epiphany from GH, she doesnt come across like a walking stereotype

Kate looks good for her age. There is nothing about Lauren Koslow that isuglyexcept maybe her clothes at times

Maxine has appeared in the hospital scenes for years now.

edit: imdb says she has been on from 2008-current, but i thought it had been longer.

Maxine, she's awesome. Not a walking stereotype and she's a generally accurate portrayal of a hard working nurse.

sindacco, I don't know what you are seeing when you look at LK. Looking at all those pictures she is clearly older, maybe more dramatic make up, but it is the same face just a little older.

That's how I feel, she looks a little older, the makeup and hair is a little different, but that's it. She's 58, she shouldn't look as young as she did 10 years ago. Gorgeous.

She would look good for her age if she stopped trying to look young and hip, it makes her look desperate because in the past she dressed more mature, hell even on B&B and that was over 20 years ago. Now she has ugly hair, ugly nails, ugly clothes, ugly makeup and she has done something with her face, it's not just aging.

So I wonder how Kate will react when she finds out what her hubby and EJ did to Rafe and that they were going to kidnap her granddaughter Allie and make her "disappear"?

The hair, nails, makeup is all Koslow's call, so is much of the wardrobe. She has her own style.

The only thing she's done to her face is Botox, fillers and perhaps Thermage or Fraxel lasers. No surgery, she's been very judicious. JackPeyton can tell you that, up close and in person, she looks great.

Is she really still wearing make-up? I mean to me it doesn't seem like she has any on at all lately, she looks a tired mess. Then again I am a guy and wear no make up at all LOL so I'm no expert at this...but to me it looks like she is wearing little to none at all these days!! Which fits well with her S/L I think! lol.

It's beyond ridiculous that Taylor has been to the DiMera mansion and been involved in the wedding planning, and she STILL hasn't seen a damn picture of EJ! This would have been much more plausible if she showed up in town, quarreled with Nicole once, ran into EJ, they had a "connection," then Nicole changed her mind and invited her, and she saw him at the wedding. None of this idiotic stalling business.

OMG this Chloe S/L has me on edge & I find it all very riveting to watching. Loving it. Nadia is doing a great job, I hope there is more & we aren't near the end already because, & I hope this doesn't sound terrible, I'd like to see Chloe go completely off the deep end and I want to see Nadia emotionally go all out. She's getting there but not quite yet IMO. I hope this continues on more and the show explores her postpartum more even if Parker is taken away from her. I don't want to see Chloe immediately get help after this. lol sorry but I like that she's off her meds! I'm kind of digging Kate's scheme...
