Colin/Cane - Colin is using the name Colin Atkinson but he's really Cane's father.

Cane is freaked the truth will come out when Colin gets himself invited to dinner at Jill's house.

Colin pushes Cane's buttons in front of the family since no one knows their secret.

Colin shows a photo of Samantha, and explains she's someone that both he and Cane know.

In private, Colin wants Cane to return to Australia and the life he left behind.

Otherwise he'll expose all Cane's lies.

The reveal of who Samantha is will let viewers understand why Cane left his previous life.

I thought Cane left Australia because he tattled on the evil cattle rustlers. The more they try to explore Cane's backstory the more I get annoyed by him.

I think they would be good together too, but unfortunately the show won't actually give them a story; unless it's Collin fooling Jill.

I'm interested! I love this spoiler they are not only chem testing Colin and Jill, but Colin and the Chancellor mansion.

I hope he looks right at home in that living room, he needs to be a permanent resident. It's either Colin and Jill, or the estate will be taken over by Kevin, Heather, and Jana. UGH.

I'm numb to Jill being discarded, they have trashed her so badly this year that I've stopped listening to that nonsense. When Jess utters dialog Jill would never say I just ignore it. I can't imagine they would have her dumped again, there is no drama left in that story, kicking a dead horse is worse than boring. And who would Colin end up with? If he's anything like Scorpio, Ashley and Nikki would be too boring for him.

William Russ was wonderful, I never saw/(or at least noticed him) before in my life but he was like breath of fresh air. He passed with flying colors. I was totally thrown when they re-cast him. I wasn't on the internet at that time and it was the third shocking punch in the gut, (Brad, then Colleen, and now the new guy who loved Jill), I had to start reading spoilers to protect myself.

SN Tucker is a fail. He's too moody for Y&R. I guess he must have lots of issues and inner turmoil, but hope I never find out what they are, because I just don't care. He feels like a depressed version of Victor to me, and I see enough Victor.

Tristan has an outgoing charisma like Russ, so he could work. If TPTB were looking for soap vet with fans and a gentlemanly charisma they aren't going to do any better. Even if the writing sucks Jess and Tristan may be able to make it fun. I am going to remain optimistic as long as possible.

I think today's Y&R is very moody. He's just extraneous because Tucker is a pointless character, especially with Victor around. He mainly exists to showcase ShefferRauch misogyny.

Anyway, I hope you're right and that Tristan will help bring something positive to Y&R. They could certainly use it.

    • Correction, Chicago Hope 1994/95 was initially Thursday 9 pm, a CBS dead zone and head-to-head w/ Seinfeld. 1994/95 CBS Thursday 10 pm initially was Eye to Eye with Connie Chung. Later in the season CBS did a scheduling shift with Chicago Hope moving to Monday 10 pm, Eye to Eye with Connie Chung moving to Thursday 9 pm, and 48 Hours moving from Wednesday 10 pm to Thursday 10 pm.

    • A--I wish someone would post a better vid of the entire ball, as it must be out there. And B--nope. Evie is only in a small segment of the ball with Phillip, Rick and Mindy. She doesn't dance at all. Ross dances with Helena and Amanda. I'm not even sure why Evie is at the ball---Vanessa heartily disliked her. I did see that Billy actually asked Henry to introduce him to Vanessa, which I hadn't realized.
    • Honestly, they should've ordered more of 2000 Malibu Road for the 1992-93 midseason and aired it when Knots went on a break. That was probably their best shot.    Then of course they fumbled Central Park West by airing it in the 9PM slot instead of a 10PM slot where it would've been away from the Fox dramas. CPW got its best rating by airing randomly on a Sunday and when it was taken off the air for a "re-tooling", Party of Five's ratings actually had a spike, so clearly they were feeding off each other. But being a smaller network focused on a certain demographic, Fox could afford to be patient Party of Five, CBS couldn't...
    • Agree on Bruce Gray as Owen; they needed to cast star power. He was too lightweight against Kim and he had no chemistry with Frances Fischer except more gay buddy or daddy figure.  I loved Nola and Eliot together though. Lee Godart should have been longer term.
    • Andre has the worst fashion of the males which is off putting for someone as fine as he is. His jackets and sweaters look dated and no vintage does not work for him
    • I don’t recall MSW having a toy line in the late 80’s or early 90’s like all those Saturday morning cartoons did LOL but thought this was cute when I saw it in a vintage toy store yesterday:

    • Copying and pasting pasting this here as to not to derail the KL thread lol Wow I forgot CBS actually did try multiple attempts to come up with a soapy replacement for Knots on Thursday nights in the 10/9 slots for the 93-94 season.   Angel Falls had promise but CBS didn’t give it a fair chance. Latham’s Second Chances got even worse ratings than Angel Falls and wasn’t given a second chance when the Northridge quake destroyed the show’s sets. One West Waikiki looked gorgeous but was a blink you missed it affair. Finally we got Hotel Malibu, a quasi follow-up to Second Chances that stayed as the summer replacement series it was. CBS switched gears and had Chicago Hope air in the slot…against ER. It made the Top 30 but obviously underperformed below expectations. CBS gave up, and gave us 48 Hours for years there. It wasn’t until the 2002-03 season when CBS finally produced a Top 20 show for that spot with Without A Trace against an aging ER.
