He spills some tea and tells about why Janice Lynde was fired.

Oh geez....that's definitely not what I expected to hear...She always seems prepared during the episodes we have of her.

I think he said Janice was taking quaaludes*and didn't know her lines, leaving Tom to cover for her in scenes. It would be interesting to watch those episodes to see how apparent it was.

I think because Leslie was a nervy character going through emotional upheaval(constantly) that covered the fact that she wasn't prepared.

Janice admitted that the workload and playing such a fragile character affected her own mental state. She probably took the drugs to cope with that

I would like to see those episodes as well to see if you can notice. I bet Tom Hallick was freaking out doing live to tape with all that going on. I doubt it was to the extreme like Brett Butler back in the 90's on "Grace Under Fire" where she was hammered and they just kept filming her going off the rails. They had to bring in Julia Duffy to help carry the show.
