B&B: Ashley Jones dropped to recurring! Lloyd gets contract!

Okay this one shocked me. Ashley Jones actually gets a lot of screentime, so I didn't see this coming. Only thing I can guess is that she requested this due to her success in primetime. If that's the case then I guess we can look forward to a new Bridget (or no Bridget) because it's only a matter of time before she books a regular gig.

As for Dayzee, not sure what to say. It'll be interesting to see how she fits in the show after this homeless story ends.

Bridget has always been a worthless role -- as almost every role on B&B ha been for many years. I think Jones grew into a capable actress but the only time I ever cared about Bridge was with Jennifer Finnegan and even that was only for a while.

Ashley Jones dumbed down the Bridget role and couldn't do "sweet doctor" for sh!t. So glad she's leaving.

I really preferred Jennifer Finnigan's Bridget, after her, I feel like the character should have just been ditched.

Sweet doctor is such a big piece of bull... How is sweet doctor not dumbing down a role? Bridget should never have been that. Which is why Jennifer Suckage Finnigan smelled of putrid cow's excrements. And I'm glad the wind took her away.

I think Bridget probably should have been written out after the icky stuff with Ridge.

The problem is so many characters could be written out. They either have no purpose or they are in bad stories. Rick has not been in a good story since 1999 or so.

She can play a medical doctor...in a broom closet with an orderly on Red Shoe Diaries.
