I remember checking that book out in my college library. I loved it back in the day in college with all the soap opera books my library had. Bob really had nothing to do afterwards did he? I know there was the Valerie stuff and course the later Miranda story but between that is a mystery to me until that 1979 episode on the DVD set. Members P.J. Posted March 5, 2012 Members Share Posted March 5, 2012 IA, Carly seems almost like a different character after Maura returned in '97, but in a good way. I think she brings more to the role. It's really hard for me to watch anything from her first run---Carly seems so much harder to me. Although, maybe it's because (IMO) she's working so hard in scenes with poor castmates.
