I like her laugh. All the girls on GH are so mopey and depressed (I am looking at you Sam and Robin), a big laugh is breath of fresh air.

IMO her laugh is the best part of the character.

It just sounds so put-on. Brenda was once a more natural presence.

that laugh is depressing every time i hear it i think vanessa is trying to be julia roberts who is famous for a laugh like that...but its old and annoying once was good but every scene shes in does she have to laugh like a witch?

I keep expecting her to say after that laugh: "I'll get you my pretty, and your little dog too"

Because they are trying to recapture the essence of Brenda of yesteryear while trying to show newer viewers what was so special. The fact that there is such a difference from old clips and nostalgia to now kinda proves the point that they just shouldn't have gone down this road. It's the rare soap character who can seamlessly fit back into the canvas after many years of absence, and putting them front and centre places the returns in the worst possible spot-light. Too much has happened for that to be a success no matter who it is.
