Jeff Phillips to AMC

Jeff Phillips, best known to soap fans as the original Hart Jessup on GL, has been cast as AMC's Nick Pearson, who figures into Ryan's self-investigation as to whether or not he killed David. He will debut on October 13 and is currently slated for six episodes.

Well it's nice to see a soap actually casting soap actors for short-term roles and not stunt casting, but Jeff is so very very dull. I did like him as Hart when I first watched his GL episodes in the early 90s but he was like paint drying on AW.

Jeff Phillips? Who the hell is that? The only Hart I knew was that hot Frank Grillo. I wouldnt mind seeing him on a soap

Really disliked his time as Matt on Another World.

Okay, the only pic they have of him is 21 YEARS OLD.

Seriously? SERIOUSLY? Soaps and their press are a joke.

Frank Grillo was a joke, although he's certainly done well for himself.

Here are a few more recent - as in late Clinton administration - photos of Jeff.

I really liked him as Hart, so I'm thrilled to see him in this short-term role!

I can't fault him for being so lackluster as Matt Cory, since I don't think any actors on ANOTHER WORLD were being given much direction by that point.

You know Vicky Wyndham was directing any scenes they had together.
