Ratings today or not until Monday?

And I predict about the same ratings as last week.

Depends on when Toups gets the ratings.

I would think OL at least stayed the same. Didn't the week start with the Eli/Blair confrontation? I enjoyed that story very much, but yes, the Fords are boring and so is the now Nate and Matthew fued. A bit late in my opinion.

I will go out on a limb and say OLTL will be at the bottom of the ratings again this week. Unless AMC dropped below them. I dont think the Eli story has been a ratings grabber. The whole Nate is my brother i hate him because he took us from mom is lame.

Child please.

GL got way more press in its final week than ATWT, nobody is talking about it. I don't see it having significant gains until the last week.

How convenient you think OLTL would just drop .2 in HH's out of nowhere.

AMC has been awesome so I don't see it dropping to last place. I like the Ford Brothers on OLTL and even though I still hold some resentment towards the show for getting rid of most of the characters I liked earlier in the year I don't want it to fall to a 1.5.

I think I'll echo Karen's quote from under the ratings news item: "Wow....talk about breathless, misleading, tabloid-y headlines. In households, GH is up 5.4% over last week....but OLTL is also up in that category by 4.7%....not much percentage difference increase.

And in women 18-49, GH is up by 3.8%...but OLTL is also up in that demo, by 2.4%.

So how is one "spiking," but the other "tanking" when both are up, by percentages that aren't that far apart?

Are you working overtime as VMG's PR person now, or something?"

I have to agree....what's with the "spin-worthy" headline?

Look at the overall ratings... While GH and OLTL are both up by over 100,000 viewers week-to-week, OLTL barely increased year-to-year, which is the only way to see if a show is doing well and is just a few viewers above the canceled ATWT. GH, however, gained nearly a quarter of a million viewers from last year.

DAYS crashed because it was a major turning point in a storyline and the beginning of a new phase in said storyline and they lost viewers year-to-year and week-to-week.

Errol I have much love for you and you know I enjoy a good OLTL smack but you might want to lay off the Red Bull when you're writing the headlines. LOL! But I agree that the yearly numbers are the ones to look at.

I'm not going to argue the point but a show gaining 100,000 viewers from the previous week doesn't sound like it's tanking to me. OLTL tanked in the ratings weeks ago, just doesn't seem like an appropriate headline today. JMO!!!!!

Okay, that makes since, in that case, OLTL been "tanking" for a while now, since they've been generally lower to flat compared to last year for at least the past few months.

Yeah...um...year to year, OLTL is up, by 21,000 in total viewers...while shows you don't say are "tanking", like B&B for instance, are down 116,000 viewers.

And in women 18-49, OLTL is down by a mere 19,000, while AMC is down also a relatively small 24,000...but AMC doesn't warrant the "tanking" reference, either.

Seriously...if you ever want to be taken seriously as a news site, you might want to chill out on the over-the-top misleading headlines
