1. Colleen Zenk- She's #1 & bolded for a reason guys. Her performance as Barbara is simply flawless. Over the years, I thought her acting had gotten a little OTT, but man, has she ever reined it in for this storyline. I don't know if her personal problems have freed her as an actress or what exactly has happened, but man, every line, every bit of subtext within each line, every quiet moment is all played to absolute perfection. Barbara is a bitch, she's vulnerable, she's tough, she's overbearing, she's middle aged & in love, she's just everything that is divine in a soap character & this storyline is a showcase for all of the qualities that make Barbara....well, Barbara. If Zenk doesn't get an Emmy nomination in 2011, something is very, very wrong. Honestly, even though everyone speaks as though these last acting awards would be the final ones for ATWT, I think it would be much more fitting if Colleen got the final win for the show, and her first. God knows she deserves it.

I definitely agree with you there. It's pathetic she's never even won. Then again most of ATWT's vets haven't.

True about the "Pauled." I still miss the Paul of old (ie, pre 2003). Howarth is OK but I've just never bought him as Paul.

I was going to ask when the last Memorial Day barbecue was for ATWT. I used to love those. I think they went away sometime in the mid/late 90s.

Remember when Emily and Henry used to be pals? Wouldn't it be nice if the writers actually made that part of the story?

Please I just ate, I never bought their "Friendship" Henry was nothing but an Emily prop. I hope it's dropped and never mentioned again. Emily is NOT someone Henry needs for a friend, he'd be better off befriending a rattle snake

Great...now Vienna is invoking God to excuse her lying conniving ass. Who does she think she is? Janet?

LOL...+1 for Kimmy defending Babs to Em.

Pixie sticks!

But I could do without Babs being stuck in a room imagining suspects. Well, except for her remembering what a scheming hussy Katie was.

CZ is doing a great job! The names she called Vienna

Why does NO one want to tell Henry what Vienna did? Oh and Chris do STFU

Barbara was kidnapped on Friday. We didn't see who kidnapped her.

From a pic from the ATWT newsletter, it looks like some random dayplayer actually kidnapped Babs. It has to be James behind it. The clown and the abandoned carnival stuff are dead giveaways. His last few appearances have had that theme. I believe he held Rosanna at one after kidnapping Cabot. Jack and Hal found Carly at an abandoned funhouse. And I have this mental image of James in full clown makeup, although I can't recall the specifics.)

Watching the Barbara scenes today, it reminded me of when Carly was found at the funhouse after the spa incident; and I seem to remember Jack & Carly having a very heartbreaking encounter in front of a mirror.

Was it just me, or did CZP almost seem drunk in those scenes today?!!?? Barbara was acting A LOT more hyper than usual, her speech was particularly speedy, her voice seemed strange, etc. -- and she was acting that way long before she found the candy.

And just in general, today seemed very "off". The words didn't seem to flow right, the actors didn't seem to be on their mark as much as they usually are, and overall, the scenes had this dark humour vibe that was, honestly, kind of eery. There were a few lines today that didn't seem like something a certain character would normally say.

On a positive note: I loved Kim's brief heart-to-heart with Katie, and I loved the stern talkin'-to she gave to Emily!!

And on another subject, Henry is a blooming idiot for believing Vienna's still pregnant. Signs are dropping into his lap, left and right, and everytime Vienna makes some lame, whiney excuse -- he just takes the bait and pushes his suspicions aside. I understand that's what "cover-up/possible truth reveal" storylines are supposed to do, but Henry's waaaayyy past the quota limit for "Here's Your Sign" moments. Any other character would have figured it out by now, and sent that Swedish meatball packing!!

P.J.--Sometimes, they do scenes like the kidnapping with a dayplayer. Sometimes, (I think) the production team doesn't know the culprit til after the scenes have been filmed. Sometimes, they film it with one to avoid fans critiquing images, trying to discover the culprit's identity. Sometimes, they use dayplayers to keep photos from being leaked, etc. Filming the scene with a dayplayer doesn't necessarily mean the dayplayer is the culprit. That IS a VERY possible scenario that you suggested, though. I can totally see that being true.

Carly and Lily toast to themselves and their business, without Jack, without Lucinda, without Craig. And they'll enjoy it for the two minutes it lasts.

Awww...the Lily and Lucinda scenes today were really sweet. Beck works wonderfully playing LH's daughter.
