All My Children: July 2010 Sneak Peek

June 28, 2010 4:19 AM By Dustin Fitzharris

When you think July, two things come to mind: heat and fireworks. July in Pine Valley will certainly deliver both! Things are about to get awkward between Damon and Liza. Tad's set to officially adopt Damon; now that he's finally accepting Tad as his father, Damon is ready to work on his relationship with Liza -- and what's a better peace offering than a kiss? After Damon and Liza's lips meet, both wonder what just happened between them. Which makes us wonder -- what is happening? Meanwhile, will Liza confess to Tad that his son put the moves on her? Honesty may be the best policy since one resident of Pine Valley discovers the risqué pictures of Liza on Damon's phone. Who is it, and will he or she reveal all? Don't expect Liza to go down without a fight -- she has a trick up her sleeve. And don't forget about Colby in this equation; she makes a bold decision that could alter her future.

Caleb makes his way to Pine Valley -- because of Palmer. Why is that, you ask? Well, turns out Caleb is Palmer's nephew ... and one of the beneficiaries of Palmer's will. He gets 50% of Cortlandt Electronics -- while the other 50% goes to (you guessed it!) Erica Kane. Looks like Caleb isn't done with his "Dorothy" after all. But with Caleb now in PV, Erica can't help but feel drawn to him. Will she change her mind about a future with Jack when Caleb makes her offer that she may not be able to refuse?

While we're on the subject of Caleb: look for more about his past to come out, including ties to another Pine Valley family. Oh, and there's that other gift Palmer gives him. Which will make one PV couple very unhappy ...

Angie's faith will be put to the test this month. as her vision increasingly becomes a problem. David suspects something is wrong and questions her. Not wanting to reveal that her eyesight may be in jeopardy, she blames her behavior on the stress he is putting her through at the hospital. Do you really think that's enough to stave him off? (Answer: No.) Angie confides in Jake about her condition, and he urges her to tell Jesse. In the meantime, Jesse is thinking more and more about becoming a father again. How will Angie deal with her husband's dreams of the future? As the month concludes, Angie learns some news that will force her to make a difficult choice that will change her life forever.

Greenlee is faced with some decisions to make as well. Namely, whether she wants to stay married to David. When certain facts about David come to light, Greenlee realizes she may not know the man she's married to as well as she thought. But David's not about to let go -- even if he has to resort to some pretty despicable methods to keep Greenlee married to him. Look for Greens to find herself in quite the pickle this month ... and Ryan may be the only person that can help her get out of it.

Things aren't getting better at the Chandler Mansion either, as JR and Annie continue to be drawn together. Their relationship gets even more intense when JR comes to Annie's rescue in a scary situation. The jig may be up on the pair after someone catches them in a kiss. Will they be exposed to all? Meanwhile, Annie makes a decision that will rock the Chandler family's world.

If all of those fireworks aren't enough: Frankie and Randi get a new, somewhat unwelcome roommate; Erica makes a shocking announcement about the future of Fusion; someone finds himself unemployed; another person's health takes a turn for the worse (and it's not Angie); and Marissa learns she doesn't have what it takes. Maybe she has to remold herself, Hayward style? And what two characters may be saying goodbye to Pine Valley?

Which story are you looking forward to the most in July?

Doesn't most of this stuff happen this week, the majority of which is June?

It's going to be a long July.

So Petey gets nothing?

Seriously. Well I'm sure he and Nina got money, but we're supposed to just buy that PC would hand his company to this hitherto unknown nephew and good friend (50/50!) and his own beloved children are not part of the equation  ?? I hope there's some sort of Nina/Petey caveat in there somewhere, and a Ross mention would be very much appreciated even if they were estranged.

I like the Liza/Damon spoilers. Good that there is movement in their relationship next month. I did predict that they would be hitting the sheets by the end of July or August. Looks like I am not too far off.

They need to bring Nina back at least for a short-term stint if they really want to sell Caleb as a Cortlandt. Come on AMC, bring Taylor Miller back.

You're right, she should be there, but do you think Frons is going to spring for plane fare and a hotel room for a 50-year-old actress?

Considering she's appeared twice this year so far, I don't see it as an impossibility anymore. They should really work on getting Hillary back first, though, IMO.

Hilary is definitely at the top of the get back list. Oh to see her reaction when she realizes Liza is boning her son!

I wouldn't be surprised that AMC had not brought Hillary back even for just one episode...were it not for the fact that Carmen Thomas is probably within walking distance of the studio!
