They've had a number of fairly well done family scenes--the girls wanting to hang out more, etc. I think that aspect has been well done and shown how little kids at that age get crushes on older siblings/cousins etc.

I really want the SEC to shutdown Fusion permanently.

Confused. Can you adopt a kid that is already you're biological son?

Colby would make a really scary girlfriend.

But then what would all of those women working there do with themselves?? Where would Greenlee, Erica, Randi, Amanda, Madison, Kendall, etc work?? I honestly think shutting down Fusion would give us more coma, baby, disaster type story lines involving them.

Adoption is about legalities. Tad is not legalyl recognized as Damon's father. If he dies, Damon gets nothing unless specifically mentinoed in will. He cant be considered next of kin when it comes to signing legal documents and making decisions for him in the event that he can not. Damon's over 18, so he doesnt have to worry about that, but if he were a minor, adoption would be necesary to establish custody. Its why Ryan had to adopt Emma, despite them getting a blood test to determine that he was her bio father

I heard about that spoiler and thought it was just wishful thinking on some people's part. So glad that's not the case!

So it's really about legally establishing Damon as Tad's son, then? I was wondering why Tad would need to adopt a kid who is biologically his, too, but the way you explain it makes sense.

Come on, AMC, get off your duff and get Carmen to come back, at least for a cameo. She already said she wouldn't mind it, and she does live in LA.

I hate whole adopting grown adults schtick. Like the way they had Clint adopt Jessica on OLTL that was just adding insult to the injury of one of the worst retcons that show's ever done. And Tad adopting Damon while not as egregious is certainly lame if we don't see him talk to Hilary.

How is Ryan Emma's biodad? Emma came on the show with Annie right? Wasn't Mr. Abusive her father? Goodness I missed so much during the McTavish blackout!

I think Annie had gotten artificial insemination and Ryan had been the sperm donor from selling his sperm to a sperm bank or something. I don't know either.

Ew, y'all say "artificially inseminated," and I wince.

Annie went to a <Blanche Devereaux>speeerm baaaank!!</Blanche> and ended up with the Lavery swim team. Kendall knew this, and, like the hypocritical shriek she is, refused to tell Ryan because she was jealous of Ryan's growing relationship with Annie.

That was just to much of a coincidence for me. I hated when it was revealed that Emma was Ryan's. I liked him and Annie together, but that did not need to happen.

ETA: Kendall knew??? I totally don't remember that. Dang.

    • Ooooo A Liam episode? I'll watch it later today. They sure are churning the daily episodes out early.

    • Welcome back, Shawn Douglas! It's been a while. It really is too bad that the writers don't really have an interest in the character because there are still a lot of ways that he can be used effectively on the canvas. He should have been a part of the 60th anniversary celebrations as well. If anything, just to represent Bo and Hope. And I'd much rather see Jada paired with him than possibly with Theo. But I enjoyed him getting caught up with Belle, and comforting her. I'm sure they'll find their way back to each other at some point but I do like them as divorced friends. I just hope we see it play out onscreen. Belle being a dick about Sami again was unnecessary though. And we finally saw Liam again!  I'm curious to see how this storyline is going to play out, and who's going to be weaved into it. He and Abe do work well together too. And we learned that he has a kid. Hopefully, we'll learn more about his character in the future. But I'm not really sure about Johnny and Chanel suddenly having problems with raising Trey. They've wanted a baby for so long, so I don't understand why this is even an issue. They should know by now what it's like to raise a baby. But I did enjoy Johnny's scenes with EJ, and that Johnny still hasn't refused to forgive him. This storyline was/is very clunky, but having the two of them be at odds is the right decision. There's so much story potential that can be drawn from that. As for Chad... there was no time for us to see his reunion with Will, but there's time for us to see him talking BS with Leo? I don't get it. And I don't get all this random dating app stuff either. Leo and Javi were boring af too. If we're forced to endure them, can they at least have some real conflict? The two of them losing the baby was the perfect opportunity for it.

    • I enjoy BF better on Days than on YR.   Chad is greater than Cane, in my opinion.
    • Ick! Seeing MS and BF making out as the characters onscreen was just ewwww.
