Thank god she joined GH! Otherwise she wouldn’t have met her then husband and become so iconic!

but I Wonder if she would’ve worked on AMC. I could actually see her there tbh

I think it depends on the role she would have played on either soap, but I do think she would have worked on both All My Children and Ryan's Hope.

Given the timing, on Ryan's Hope I imagine she'd have been up for Maggie, Katie, or Pru.

Thanks.

I'd imagine Peggy. She would have been a strong Peggy.

Yes, she would have; although, she could have done well in any of the roles, truthfully. But fate was not in her realm regarding Y&R. It all worked out in the end I would say.

Daniel Goddard (Henry, GH) revealed he auditioned for the role of Patrick Drake, which ultimately was cast with Jason Thompson (Billy, Y&R). He also auditioned for the role of Brad Snyder on As the World Turns but lost out to Austin Peck (ex-Austin, DAYS).

So, the next time you ATWT fans say Christopher Goutman never made one good decision as EP....!  ;)

Suzanne Rogers was 30 in 1973 and Peggy Brooks was introduced as a teen in high school, so I don't think that would have worked.

Tell that to BTG !

It's hard to picture Suzanne Rogers as any of the Brooks sisters, but that's because I think they were cast so perfectly.

The original four (Janice Lynde, Jaime Lyn Bauer, Trish Stewart, Pamela Peters), yes.

After reading the new Passions book that dropped, I find it interesting that Dana Sparks initially auditioned for Ivy, and when she didn't get it she practically begged them for another role and eventually got Grace.

James Hyde auditioned for Hank at first and was called back for Sam.

I think by now everyone knows McKenzie Westmore originally auditioned for Gwen but i find it interesting how she went and got a boob job at 19 with her mothers approval, for the part and then ended up getting cast older as Sheridan.

Also Chrystee Pharris originally auditioned for Whitney.
