Members Contessa Donatella Posted July 3, 2022 Members Share Posted July 3, 2022 I think it's always a mistake to let the actor have too much input into story & character and to give one actor perks & power over what most actors get which is just to be a participant. Members DRW50 Posted September 3, 2022 Members Share Posted September 3, 2022 I don't know if Jeanne Cooper wrote about this in her book (haven't read it) but I was reading an old interview with Beau Kayzer and they said that the show wanted Corbin Bernsen to play Brock, but he couldn't sing or play guitar. Years later Eric Braeden's son Christian was considered for the role of Cole Howard. Chandler Hill Harben auditioned for Phil Brent on AMC in 1970.
