Based on how AMC has written Natalia since she's come to PV, I don't see them making her like that. Natalia has been this tough, hardcore strong woman since she's gotten to PV (something different than from most, if not all, of the other women on the show) and has managed to stay that way since. I think she would be equal to David, and while I don't see them having a real romance, I could see them as good friends, and maybe with benefits LOL. I think Natalia should get involved with the Chandler family somehow, or AMC should give SK a really challenging story line to work with, that involves the Hubbards, but her in the center of it. I think she is capable of carrying story like that. She has the acting chops. I just don't want to see Natalia forced with Brot.

If they put her with David they'd really have to go for something different, have him fall head over heels for her, let her have the upper hand. There's no reason why men shouldn't be tripping over themselves trying to get to Natalia. She also has this youthful, charmingly awkward quality sometimes, like I could even buy that she's a virgin. If this Brot thing isn't going to work out, I'd rather see her with a new guy. She'd be well matched with a strong man with a good sense of humor, a Cuba Gooding, Jr. or Morris Chestnut type.

I loved this scene. The Actress (who I think is Wanda De Jesus) did so great in these scenes. I hope Jessie gets fired as Police Chief, and she's the one who does it.

This is why I gave up hope on them, because it's the same scene over and over, and for a limited amount of time. It never goes on, it just happens and thats it. They just have like 2 scenes in the show, and then they disappear for the rest of the hour. No story progression at all. DK and DS said their relationship would heat up during May Sweeps, I didn't see that happen at all. The writers also made Brot become to clinged to Natalia, boarderline stalkerish. He was just way to judgmental of her and tried to control every minute of her life. I do think Brotalia could still happen, but not with the mindset these writer's have on Brot, thinking they have to write him as a dog attached to her leg.

It's Daytime.

Minority Men exist to be humiliated & completely robbed of any justified feelings or emotional context & Minority Women exist to be concubines for White Men & to be put in their place when they get too uppity.

Natalia comes across too hard and there are times where I see her more as a lesbian. Considering she hasnt really pursued any men on the show and hasnt had any luck in that department, I wonder if they will actually go there. What if thats teh reason she shut Brot down. I mean Bianca is coming to town....

I kind of joked about that in the Bianca thread, but I think it's more a case of the show's lack of effort/desire. She's going on two years now and I don't think this girl has even had sex yet. Am I right? Have we even seen her in her bra and panties besides that hubbub surrounding the Fusion photoshoot? Kind of reminds me of Remy on GL who was a complete and utter geek but nevertheless a handsome guy who couldn't get laid to save his life. Natalia isn't just a minority character but the daughter/step-daughter of two of the show's most famous characters and she deserves better (she AND her brother for that matter). She deserves everything and more that Madison gets, and hell, if that means Ryan in order to get her on that front burner I will grin and try my damnedest to bear it.

I think people mistake her for being a lesbian because she is a no nonsense type of woman and has that domineering attitude. I think all of that comes from the fear of not wanting to end up like her mother Rebecca, a weak woman who stayed with a man that was in love with someone else. Jesse also didn't help by up and leaving her high and dry (just imagine what that did to her emotionally) so yeah she has issues with men but I don't think she is a lesbian.

    • Yeah, not sure why Jack and Jen didn’t rush to Marlena - or even Carrie - to offer their condolences. A few flashbacks would've been a nice touch too. Instead, we got a whole episode of them talking about Chad and Abby? Come on. On the bright side, I loved Anna’s scenes with Marlena and Carrie - sweet and heartfelt, felt like a real 80s throwback.
    • Martin and Smitty were designed to avoid the stereotype of gay men sleeping around (which to an extent is true). If you recall Martin had a line about them not being open when Chelsea came to talk to him. The producers are walking a very fine line right now and it might not be popular to say but I can understand it. Establishing enough footing to ward off complaints will let them showcase gay characters more openly later.
    • The week was decent. They have started to rotate their stories and finally got a rhythm going. I disagree about them allowing every character to have a moment to shine though. Nicole really hasn't been given anything to do. I completely agree with all this. I adore Doug and hope he makes it through.

    • There was the one appearance in '96, but otherwise, that's correct as far as I know.

Question for the B&B group: I see @rsclassicfanforever has uploaded multiple seasons from Videoland  (in the folders that are to be put away). They are huge folders and difficult to download so I started breaking them down into months but I realized they are by season so for example, Season 4 spans from March 1990 to March 1991. Now I'm wondering where to actually place them, since we have the Full Episodes section divided by year, not seasons. And most of these seasons we already have in full, so these are duplicates. Not sure if it's necessary to keep the older versions. I could just make another new section for Seasons, so the main folders would be "Behind the Scenes and Interviews," "Clips," "Full Episodes," "Full Seasons," "Music CDs," and "photo archive Marquise" but I'm not sure that really makes sense. Also wondering since we have almost every full episode now if "Clips" can be deleted in its entirety, as it's nearly 300GB.
    • CBS moving Murder, She Wrote from Sunday to Thursday was straight up sabotage. Les Moonves knew exactly what he was doing.
    • I sure hope you’re right. The lack of sets is maddening!
