I don't think that the new writers have any intention of saving the character of Marissa so I doubt they care who plays her. I love Vail Bloom and she would be a welcomed addition to AMC but I'm not so sure I want the character of Marissa to stick around no matter who plays her.

I bet in a year, Marissa and Brittany Allen will be off the canvas.

I'm with you. I love Adam Mayfield, I think he's just right for the part. I'd be so disappointed if Cosgrove was brought back for the role. Let him stick to shows that are getting canceled. Maybe OLTL has a son-of-a-popular-couple role for him.

I think she would be way too extreme. No offense to Amanda, but she does give off that trashy porn star vibe. I think she's too sexy for the role and while I want a new change for Marissa, that woul be too much. Even when they glammed and cleaned her up on OLTL, she still had that going for her. Vail has alot of sex appeal, but hers is alot more subtle. Its not so in your face if you get what Im saying. I guess ti helps for me bc she was always wearing skirts, dresses and suits over on Y&R and she played a lawyer, which is what Marissa is aspiring to be.

You're right, and honestly, I had a hard time believing that AS would have come out of Krystal, but I could see her as another one of David's hitherto unknown illegitimate children. AS would have been perfect had David and Erica met earlier in life and had a kid.

I also agree with the posters who say Adam Mayfield is fine in the role. It's not his fault that he's written so boringly, and going back to Shane McDermott, that's kind of who Scott's always been. AM seems capable of playing more interesting stuff and I have a feeling that the character could potentially be even more of a dud in another actor's hands, just leave the casting as is and amp up his writing.

If they want Annie to remain true to who she is to the core and not to mention have prbly the hottest scenes and angsty RL on this show, they'll stick w/ JR/Annie. If they want to attempt to redeem her character to some cute goody goody..something that w/ her past is just not easy for me to buy but you know...they'll stick w/ Scott/Annie.

And if they want Scott to wise up, JR to be recast, and Annie to die?

The only "believable" thing that comes out of Krystal is a venereal disease.

Well apparently you don't like it, which is fine by all means...but majority does. So...it's your prerogative.

The JR/Annie/Scott triangle is the best thing on the show. I thought this week was incredibly boring until they showed up yesterday. They keep me thoroughly entertained

And two forgettable punks, gee Scott and JR Chandler, the ones w/ the most history on this show. Son of Dixie and Adam and somewhat Tad...Son of Stuart, Cindy and Marion...both part of the richest historic family in TV. Yeh they are forgettable characters.

Glad someone's enjoying them, I find Annie just a one note nut job, Scott is a gomer(or Gumby as some like to call him) and JR I have no use for. JR & Annie have major shades of Babe & JR, and Scott and Annie are Babe and Jamie lite

Sorry but IMO MCE is very overrated as an actress, and Adam Mayfield is okay but all wrong for Scott, and Jacob Young does his best work AWAY from this "triangle"
