Members amybrickwallace
I have a bit of a soft spot for Jada "Amy" Rowland, because she was born the same year as my mom and allowed to grow up on the show. I'd like to see more of her work on this show.

Members danfling
I just learned that Warren Leslie, the brother of Bethel Leslie, wrote scripts on The Secret Storm when his sister was one of the headwriters of that show.
Members Avatar610
I do wonder if any color tapes from the CBS-owned years (1969-74) still exist.
Members amybrickwallace
The CBS promo for its soaps in 1968 is the only color clip of TSS that I've seen.
Members Paul Raven
Warren Leslie's book 'The Starrs of Texas' was optioned by CBS as a daytime serial. John Conboy was slated to produce. This was in the early 80's. It was about a family run department store. As Leslie had worked for Neiman Marcus he had background information on that type of business.
Members amybrickwallace
That sounds like an interesting book - I'll have to see if my library system carries it.

Members amybrickwallace
Those photos are great! Is that the same Larry Weber who played the Dancy father on TD?

Members Paul Raven
Larry Weber did indeed play Barney on TD. He appeared on just about every NY soap from the 50's to the 80's,yet seems relatively unknown to most viewers. He would have had many stories to tell,I'm sure.
Members amybrickwallace
Thank you. I love the photo of the four ladies - I'm guessing that had to be near the end of the show's run. Didn't Lynne Adams play Amy before Jada came back and stayed for the rest of the show's duration?
