Members Scotty
At least the first few minutes of today's AMC will be pre-empted for President Obama's statement on the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
Members edgeofnik
It only took him 40 days to notice. Wonder what his teleprompter told him to say.
Members Scotty
Well, this isn't his first remarks about it. This is like an update.

Members MichaelGL
Couldn't he have waited until 2 o'clock (EST), that's when One Life to Live is on.
Members alexisfan07
No, because OLTL is a better show, lol.
Members Scotty
I don't think so....and besides that's usually when pre-emptions seem to occur. And this began at 12:45 pm et, so at least the whole didn't start right as AMC came on the air. Compared to what? lol Just kidding.
Members dragonflies
When he actually does something other than talk about it, let me know. This is now named worse than the Exxon Valdez oil spill
Members alexisfan07
LOL. Compared to AMC! I watch both and OLTL entertains me more in general. That and the last few writer regimes butchered the AMC characters that are still around to the point where it's hard to root for them (i.e. Amanda screwing David in the backseat of a car). Members Scotty
LOL Okay, I'll take your word for it since I don't watch AMC.
Members Clear Drama
Between OLTL and AMC's middle age scene I'd take OLTL...AMC screwed up so much making Amanda pregnant and having that kid be Jake's and having her not single, taking away a rootable straight female. Now they need to figure out how to have something as hot as JR/Annie and as promising as Ryan/Madison on the show.
Members alexisfan07
Like a combination of the two you mean? I'll agree with that. They need to not make Annie so polarizing if she's going to be a lead, too. I love her but my friend DESPISES her.
