BODY OF PROOF

Dr. Megan Hunt (Dana Delany) was in a class of her own, a brilliant neurosurgeon at the top of her game. It turns out her career isn’t the only thing that will need to be rebuilt; Megan’s family has taken a backseat to her ambition, and now she’s discovering there’s a lot of work to do when it comes to dissecting her relationships with the living. Dana Delany stars as Dr. Megan Hunt, Jeri Ryan as Dr. Kate Murphy, Geoffrey Arend as Dr. Elliot Gross, John Carroll Lynch as Detective Bud Morris, Windell Middlebrooks as Dr. Curtis Brumfield, Nic Bishop as Peter Dunlap and Sonja Sohn as Detective Samantha Baker. “Body of Proof” is from ABC Studios. Christopher Murphey wrote the pilot, which was directed by Nelson McCormick. Murphey and Matt Gross serve as executive producers.

What's the deal with this show? It was supposed to be a mid-season replacement, will it still air, has it aired already? I can never tell what's been unofficially cancelled or just hanging in the balance.

It was suppose to air Fridays at 9 starting in October but ABC changed their minds since My Generation & The Whole Truth flopped. The airdate hasnt been announced but I have a feeling it wont air until March Tuesdays at 10. Detroit 187 only got 5 additional episodes so I see it airing when thats over.

Thanks OLTL_fan! I have a friend who says they were going to be on it and I was just wondering if that was even a possibility.

The drama about a neurosurgeon turned medical examiner who solves crimes is debuting Tuesday, March 29 at 10 p.m.

Not a bad show. It had a Murder She Wrote feeling....Matlock...Castle...type show. I looks like I'll be watching next week again.

I missed it but my mom watched it and said she thought it was great.

I may have to catch it next week or the premiere episode if they repeat it on Saturday or something.

It was pretty good, I mean, some of the predictable kind of set ups for these types of shows (the lead has a disturbing past explained by post-traumatic flashbacks providing the backstory). But I enjoyed the cast, Dana Delaney and Sonja Sohn from The Wire.

There is an episode on Sunday. Then it's back to its Tuesday time slot.

I had been looking forward to seeing Dana Delaney back in primetime so I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. I was also pleasantly surprised to find out Jeri Ryan is co-starring because I LOVE her!

Taking full control of the hour, ABC's "Body of Proof" beat out second-place CBS' "The Good Wife" by 39% in Total Viewers (13.9 million vs. 10.0 million) and by a massive 58% in Adults 18-49 (3.0/8 vs. 1.9/5).

* Generating enormous time-period improvement, "Body of Proof" delivered ABC's best results in the slot with a regular hour-long program in 6 years among Total Viewers, and in 3 years among Adults 18-49 - since 3/1/05 and 3/25/08, respectively. Versus ABC's averages with regular programming in the hour this season, "Body of Proof" improved the time slot by 117% in Total Viewers and by 114% in Adults 18-49.

* ABC's "Body of Proof" qualified as TV's 2nd-most-watched series debut of the 2010-11 season, behind only the September premiere of CBS' high-profile reboot of "Hawaii Five-0." In addition, it was ABC's most-watched midseason drama debut in 4 years and its top-rated among Adults 18-49 in 2 years - since 3/15/07 and 3/9/09, respectively.
