But her world is turned upside down when a devastating car accident puts an end to her time in the operating room. Megan resumes her career as a medical examiner, determined to solve the puzzle of who or what killed the victims. Her instincts are sharp, but she’s developed a reputation for graying the lines of where her job ends and where the police department’s begins. It turns out her career isn’t the only thing that will need to be rebuilt; Megan’s family has taken a backseat to her ambition, and now she’s discovering there’s a lot of work to do when it comes to dissecting her relationships with the living. Dana Delany stars as Dr. Megan Hunt, Jeri Ryan as Dr. Kate Murphy, Geoffrey Arend as Dr. Elliot Gross, John Carroll Lynch as Detective Bud Morris, Windell Middlebrooks as Dr. Curtis Brumfield, Nic Bishop as Peter Dunlap and Sonja Sohn as Detective Samantha Baker. “Body of Proof” is from ABC Studios. Members OLTL_fan Posted November 19, 2010 Members Share Posted November 19, 2010 It was suppose to air Fridays at 9 starting in October but ABC changed their minds since My Generation & The Whole Truth flopped. The airdate hasnt been announced but I have a feeling it wont air until March Tuesdays at 10. Detroit 187 only got 5 additional episodes so I see it airing when thats over. Members SFK Posted March 30, 2011 Members Share Posted March 30, 2011 It was pretty good, I mean, some of the predictable kind of set ups for these types of shows (the lead has a disturbing past explained by post-traumatic flashbacks providing the backstory). Heres an ABC press release: "Body of Proof" (10:00-11:00 p.m.) In the 10 o'clock hour against established first-run dramas on CBS ("The Good Wife") and NBC ("Parenthood"), ABC's series debut of "Body of Proof" opened a definitive No. 1 in its time period. Taking full control of the hour, ABC's "Body of Proof" beat out second-place CBS' "The Good Wife" by 39% in Total Viewers (13.9 million vs. 10.0 million) and by a massive 58% in Adults 18-49 (3.0/8 vs. 1.9/5). * Generating enormous time-period improvement, "Body of Proof" delivered ABC's best results in the slot with a regular hour-long program in 6 years among Total Viewers, and in 3 years among Adults 18-49 - since 3/1/05 and 3/25/08, respectively. Versus ABC's averages with regular programming in the hour this season, "Body of Proof" improved the time slot by 117% in Total Viewers and by 114% in Adults 18-49. * ABC's "Body of Proof" qualified as TV's 2nd-most-watched series debut of the 2010-11 season, behind only the September premiere of CBS' high-profile reboot of "Hawaii Five-0." In addition, it was ABC's most-watched midseason drama debut in 4 years and its top-rated among Adults 18-49 in 2 years - since 3/15/07 and 3/9/09, respectively.
