Members DRW50
The big cliffhanger when Viki went to try to help Tina while she was in Statesville was that Jamie Sanders knocked Viki out and put her in a coffin to be incinerated. Clint saved her just as she was about to be burnt alive.
Members Y&RWorldTurner
They really expect people to care whether or not fuckin' Emily lives or dies? WTF?!?!

Members Y&RWorldTurner
You misunderstood me, I meant in the sense that people should be invested enough in a newbie like Emily to actually care whether or not she lives or dies. I know I have absolutely no investment in this character, or Haiduk as an actress for that matter. What does it say when this heffa gets to have two roles and we barely get to see Jess Walton or Melody Thomas Scott? I really do not get the Haiduk love from this regime... I've become so numb to the cartoon shock tactics done by this horrible writing regime that nothing absurd surprises me anymore.
Members lovely_m
I'm starting to think that a major part of Haiduk's appeal was that stuffed cat.
Members Y&RWorldTurner
Agreed, she has no chemistry with anyone, especially Peter Bergman. They seem more like siblings.
Members Y&RWorldTurner
I'm gonna throw a party if Billy Miller and Stacy Haiduk are snubbed when Emmy nominations are announced! This hack writing regime tried so hard, and failed IMO, to make both actors happen that that they refused to do anything resembling character writing and just relied on the overdone tics from the actors themselves. It would also make my year if Y&R and its writing team gets snubbed from Best Writing and Best Show for the THIRD year in a row. Ever since Maria took over, they've never been nominated in those categories.
Members bellcurve
Who, in their right mind, wants to reward a Fi-Core writing team helmed by a hack artist, a wannabe Jessica Fletcher, and the Hamburgler?
Members DRW50
That was always the appeal. That damn cat got a multi-part web series! I think Stacy had potential when MJ first arrived but after Patty went nuts it was all downhill.
Members bellcurve
Cashton would be so proud.
Members Y&RWorldTurner
But... What if voters are watching for the ONE good "scene" in the episodes submitted!  We're all in this together, and no one there is thinking that!
Members DRW50
I wonder if they have given up on some of the Miller hype. I was surprised that awful NYE episode wasn't their Emmy bait.
Members Y&RWorldTurner
They're probably hoping it will win Miller the Supporting Actor Emmy, just like how a similar episode won LeBlanc a Lead Emmy last year...
Members lovely_m
They spent more time on the True Hollywood story for Kitty than the actual show. Death always does better at the Emmys than teeth do.
