I am assuming that RHOD will either run alongside RHOC like it did last year or take NYC's slot on Wednesday.

NJ, much like ATL, will always be on Sundays. Those 2 shows are locked on Sunday nights. I am thinking that NJ will either have a shorter episode order, which they should given these past 2 abysmal seasons, or their last few episodes will run alongside ATL. If that's the case, NJ will be pushed back to 9:00 and RHOA will resume its 8:00 slot.

November is a sweeps month, so Bravo will NEVER push an ATL premiere from that month. Seeing as OC emerge as a strong contender in recent seasons, that's why they moved their premiere to July. If I am not mistaken, usually OC would premiere back in Feb/Mar/Apr time frame. The previous 2 seasons it came on in June. I guess with the bump that Kelly gave last year, they are putting the premiere during a sweeps month.

I could see RHOC and RHOD running together. The show suffered last year with no lead in. If they try it again this year it will just sink lower. I think that franchise is a dud and doesn't represent my home state well so I don't have high expectations for next season.

Sydney

@DaytimeFan I finally binged through the show and here are my thoughts

Image result for brandi glanville fuck gif

This gif describes Sydney in one gif. My lord every other word out of their mouths is f--k. Very crude, vulgar and unlady like. Imagine if Bravo cast 7 Brandi Glanville's and thats what you have. I thought it was such a turn off that none of these women had any loyalty. They were ready to turn on each other at the drop of a dime. It was so extreme and uncomfortable to watch.

Melissa was probably the most tolerable one. I felt she had a genuine heart and stayed out of the drama the most. She didnt bother me

Victoria was the absolute worst. God I couldnt stand her ass. She sees herself as more important than she actually is. I would have walked up and grabbed her by the ponytail if she did that to me

Arena_RHOS_Ep11 (11)

Athena X was probably my favorite bc she owned her sh-t and was unapologetic with no regrets.. Made her seem less fake than the rest and even though she was odd, they did come for her, which put her on the defense even more. Oh and she was full of sh-t when she was hypnotized and the ladies conveniently were in her past life. Bitch please

Athena X and Lisa together with the Sherees of this season. Unlike Sheree who throws rocks and hides, these two threw rocks and stuck around to make sure it hit their target. They went in on everyone. Athena didnt really bother me but Lisa sure did. Dont know why bc they did the same thing. Probably bc she was the biggest offender of the excessive profanity use.

Chrissy...she irked me. She and Nicole were almost interchangeable for me. Didnt care for her.

Arena_RHOS_Ep7_Blowdry

Matty...I didnt like her at first but she was harmless. I grew to not mind her.

The network is going to need to d a revamp for season 2. There were some light moments but not enough. The women were too aggressive and nasty and this cant go on. I'd keep Athena X, Melissa, Matty and maybe Nicole. Lisa can stay if she tones it down. Victoria definitely needs to go and she can take her lapdog Chrissy

@Cheap21, you binged watch that?! Ooo... I don't know how you did it. I kicked myself for doing. Just too much. No wonder why Bravo opted to not show RHOS here in the states and will supposedly air Auckland here instead. Sydney was trashy. Like the trashiest, darkest, most vile housewives franchise ever.

I've heard that Melissa and Victoria are the ones getting the boot and everyone else is staying. IMO, I'd only keep Nicole and Matty (even though I can't stand her) and ditch the rest.

yeah I went through it all this weekend. Much easier in one go than week to week. They were vile as if this was season 3 and everyone was fighting for airtime. The "friendships" did not feel authentic at all. I swear these women just met bc there was a serious lack of chemistry when the series opened up

Victoria definitely needed to go. Couldnt stand her ass. I guess I can see how they probably thought Melissa was too boring

Where did you hear Bravo was airing Auckland? I'd love that. It was surprisingly a very well done series and a good cast. I expected it to be cheap and forgettable, but it was very enjoyable.

I think that Nicole/Lisa and Lisa/Matty were the only ones with true connections before the show. I do believe that these women were only thrown together before the show, hence why they were so nasty to each other. They didn't have ties to each other.

I didn't care for Victoria either. I think she was trying to go for the LVP or Gina role and it fell flat. She was just too nasty to pull off what they do. Vanderpump and Gina can laugh at themselves and never lorded their wealth over Victoria. Victoria possessed none of that as she stayed looking her nose down on Athena.

I just think that they need to scrap about 90% of the cast. They were just too vile.

I heard it from here and other housewives blogs have corroborated the story. I'm guessing they'll get a Friday night slot like Melbourne or a Saturday morning slot like Cheshire.

I agree that Auckland panned out to be phenomenal. Only thing that sucks is that they didn't get a reunion. They needed the reunion, not Sydney.

Thank you for enduring Sydney so that we could all concur what an ugly, disgusting franchise it is. They need to fire 75% of the cast and start over. It was awful.

The Cheshire 'inside their homes' special was decent, though a real reunion would have been appreciated given the explosiveness of the season.

Potomac has been so good this season - which is all down to Karen being hilarious, a peace maker and totally real (except for this house thing, is Karen broke?).

@DaytimeFan, I don't think Karen is broke. I think he husband doesn't well but Karen wants to keep up with 'the Joneses.'

Karen needs to go buy a damn nice 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house and call it day. I don't expect RHOP to be luxurious. That's why we have BH. I just need them to be a little bit more upperclass than the average person.

Karen renting that big ass house is stupid seeing as Brandon nor Raven are coming back home.

I dont see it considering they wouldnt give Faye a diamond and Jenna is even trashier than her.

I've met Jenna at the hotel I used to work at and she is ROUGH around the edges. With that said, I could see them hiring her. They struck gold with two soap stars and tend to be untraditional in their casting.

Yeah JJ is still in, and highly representative, of the porn industry, and that still has sleazy associations and connotations. I can't see her on BH which is the most aspirational RH franchise from a wealth/status POV.

Last week on the show she burst out into tears over Quinn kissing Ridge and how hurt Eric would be if he found out. All her rage these days is aimed at Quinn. She is getting borderline psychotic with her Quinn obsession

Eww at Jenna Jameson possibly being on this show. She's is pure trash. Trump loving trash at that. I used to like her when she was on Celebrity Big Brother but she soon fell off with me with the stupid sh-t she constantly spouted. Not surprised she's friends with Erotika. Two trashy peas in a pod.

    • But that's not weird... nail polish is allowed in prisons via commissary. Same with general makeup, haircuts, and hair colouring products.
    • This is DAYS, the show that said you could brainwash anyone with simple kitchen appliances.  An actor's nail polish or lack thereof should be the least of our concerns, lol.
    • It was not that she wasn't wearing nail polish, it is that she managed to get a manicure in prison
    • "We're Knot Done Yet": the name of this lovely podcast AND what JVA tells her plastic surgeon at every appointment. In other news, Michele Lee is reminding me more and more of my old music teacher from elementary school, and I couldn't STAND that bitch.
    • I apologize if this has been covered already, but does anyone know whether Douglas Marland was HW'ing by that point?  If he was, then I see what he meant when he said (in so many words) that he had inherited a mess when he started at GH.  Aside from Alan and Monica, none of that material seems very promising.  The story with Mark Dante and the Corbins is the wrong kind of predictable (y'know, the kind where you know what's going to happen, but you just don't give a crap?), the stuff with Scotty and Laura is cute but toothless, I don't know WHAT the hell Gina and Steve Carlson's character are arguing about and Rick Webber has to be the dumbest man alive not to see David Hamilton practically twirling his moustache over how to make a killing off Lamont Corbin's declining health.  (By the way, "LAMONT CORBIN"?  What is this, "The Shadow"?  And "Corbin Limited" sounds like some jive I'd hear over on Y&R.) In a way, it's kind of like watching today's GH, right down to the dialogue that's serviceable and pushes plot along but says nothing about the characters' inner lives.
    • It absolutely was; the narrative was there, and they followed it promptly. Maybe that's back when women had babies at young ages?!?!?

    • Thanks for asking that!  Back when we had another major event upcoming (a party or the concert), I had intended to ask what everyone here was planning to wear.

    • Lol. Right?  I mean the show could have framed the 60th anniversary in a different way, but the narrative was celebrating Tom and the hospital. Also, what a weirdly sexist bunch of posts about women's nail polish.  Like, yes, this is Days problem lol.  Stacy Haiduk isn't a good Kristen because she doesn't wear nail polish?  Are we in the 1950's???
