I hope these two actually get back together. I don’t think either of them are happier without the other.

They have also dropped the ball on RHONJ and its replacement, RHORI. I am seeing literally nobody missing NJ, except perhaps Teresa and Melissa, who have conveniently 'reconciled' for Christmas. But similarly with RI, I have seen a scrap of a teaser about this show and it, too, has disappeared without a trace. And as you say, isn't RHOA meant to be around the corner? Aren't Shamea and Porsha meant to have had an altercation which Drew had to break up?

Woohoo! I like London, but I am biased. It's a slow burn, just letting you know so I can cover my ass in case you find it a bore, LOL.

Raquel was great, and she was honest. I felt like she was talking directly to the audience at times. Her realisation that Brynn was lying still gives me chills just thinking about it. I don't know why but I think Bravo did not want her back on nuRHONY in the re-re-re-revamp.

I can't remember. Did I manage to drop the RI trailer here before the system update? I thought I did. But yeah, they are not promoting it at all. I did hear about Teresa and Melissa. Like everyone else, I saw it as transparent. I DID hear about Shamea and Porsha and Drew, but I don't know how true it is...yet.

I can't wait to get around to seeing it. re: London. That said...how was Stansbury???

Raquel was proof that you can look original and not be over-the-top and still have a fascinating personality AND living a fascinating life. She, like Tia, was another example of a new housewife doing their first year right. The stuff with her ex, the exploration of the art world and mystery surrounding her blacklisting, her story with her mother, her and Mel. There was so much to draw from...and she was willing to show it. She was also willing to explore actual friendships with the ladies. And I loved Mel with Abe so much...Best Unexpected Couple 2025...hehe. And because I can't say it enough, she gave us the POSE party! I was living. And people that were there were posting on social media in real life, too. It was a ki-ki!!! How Bravo could not want her back is a mystery to me.

Since Vancouver is now on Peacock, I finally got the opportunity to watch the first season and WOW! I remember y'all talking about it here and there, especially at how VILE Jody is... and y'all weren't exaggerating. She gives Danielle Staub a run for her money haha.

I'm 100% Team Mary. I felt so bad for her the entire first season.

Jody - I thought the villain thing was a little performative in the beginning, but then you can just clearly tell she's a miserable [!@#$%^&*]. Her daughter Mia is just as bad, and maybe even worse. That pair is so disgusting and toxic. They bullied Mary all season, yet tried to play victim the entire time.

Ronnie - I really thought she would be the one I love from the jump, but I had to side eye her the entire season. She wasn't as bad as Jody, but she had her awful moments. She's not a great drunk and I found it so cringe that she was developing a wine, yet knew NOTHING about wine except how to get drunk from it. All the professionals trying to give her advice and her thinking they were dumb was so cringe. I was saddened to read that her son we see on the show died of suicide, that she blames on alcoholism... but she stopped drinking and became sober because of it.

Reiko - I thought she was a bit boring the first half of the season, but once she saw Jody's true colors when Jody tried to overcharge her at the store, I started to really like her. I'm so happy she joined Mary's side and didn't let Jody get to her. But the cars and model stuff was snooze.

Christina - I really thought she would be messier than she ended up being. Her gold digging schtick didn't really live up to its hype, and she ultimately just became Mary's supportive friend. I liked her, but she seemed to have held back a bit. I was SHOCKED to hear she was only 29, since she looked and seemed older to me. I wasn't really a fan of her gay best friend.

Mary - she is love and I really felt bad for her all season. Looks-wise, she actually reminds me of Brandi Redmond from the Dallas housewives. I wanted her to just punch Mia in the face many times throughout the season haha.

I'm about to start Season 2 and surprised to see that Reiko and Christina don't come back, nor do they have a reunion like they did the first season. It's a much shorter season (10 episodes) compared to the first season (15 episodes).

Oh, YES. Believe the hype, darling. ;) One of the best first seasons out there for a HW show.

I have yet to see Season 2, but from hearing about it from everyone here, it was a wrong move all around and darkly toxic.

Agreed! So glad I finally got around to watching it.

I'm on episode 2 and so far it's ok... there are three new girls, so we're just getting to know them, but one is a close friend of Mia's, so I'm already wary of her. One of the others is from Texas and the other from Russia. There is a lot of talk and arguing about alcoholism, which I could see leading to a dark place.

I'm mostly curious to see if they try and redeem Jody, or if she tries to be nice herself... so far, she's pushing gay parade and drag shows, so she's buttering up the LGBTQ+ audience, it feels like haha.

I watched all three parts today and I think it basically summed up the issues with Mary's church that came out a few years ago. None of that was a surprise to me.

What did surprise me was the audio recordings of the man who was Lisa's friend and claimed to have had an affair with Mary and mortgaged his house for her. Now that was a smoking gun.

Robert Sr. came across as the real villain of the piece. From his marriage to Mary's grandmother, to how he treated those boys who lived with her, to how he got together with Mary after she'd been ex-communicated by the grandmother, while still married to another man...I can see why he doesn't want to appear on RHSLC.

I don't think this documentary will make a dent in Mary's popularity or return for next season.

RHOP

Angel, Angel, Angel.

Still playing my short catch-up and just shaking my head at her. She's giving content, but she's the very definition of 'people are laughing AT you, not WITH you.' After being given a break last episode I watched, they all were back on her this episode pre-trip.

I do wonder about the rumors surrounding her and the house. I mean she's not the first Housewife to have a rental. Heck, Jen Shah had one on SLC. Meredith continuously does on SLC. And yes, given Angel's FOINE husband's history, it's clear there's money in that house. So...what is this? Did she just rent to film? Did she honestly not know about her rental? Did she really realize she was in over her head with this show and made a break for it? I personally love the theory that she made a run for it and Production said NOPE, setting up this cast trip and Angel is saving face cuz that is soooooo funny.

But this was again another great episode to a great season. The ladies at the Derby was hilarious and Ashley was working hard to cause a rift between Stacey and Jassi. And it continued to be all about Stacey this episode due to Ashley's moves, and Stacey made great moves within the episode (calling a truce with Keiarna, having her man show up at the latest event) that will keep the ladies guessing and her name on their lips.

GIZELLE. Low-key messy. As was Tia for telling her. Cuz Gizelle wasn't going to keep that to herself. And of course, she told Wendy. Smh. I did like the angle (and 4th Wall breaking) that she took about Angel and the house. I could almost see it as a way to keep Angel relevant since it's a story that has been kept going and thus keeps her and Wendy as Mean Girls relevant. So them using that word 'catfish' to trigger her did just that.

WENDY. She was oh so wrong for trying to trigger Angel with the word 'catfish.' But she was giving straight diva throughout the episode. And you know what? I liked THAT. Cuz she didn't get dressed up for the Derby to walk through dog doo. NO, MA'AM. LOL. Production is still on her about her money. And meanwhile they saved the cliffhanger all for her, verbally daggering Angel with the house tea.

ASHLEY. Lord, she was working hard to be sure Stacey does not have anyone to fall back on. The fact that Stacey continues to outmaneuver her as well as have good friends and allies...Ashley must be pressed.

KEIARNA. Wow. She actually managed to sit down with Stacey. Good they came to a truce.

STACEY. Giiiiiiiiiiiiirl!!!! Not there being an ACTUAL picture of her out with Chris Samuels out there! lol. But...she does keep these ladies guessing. And I love it!!! Did not expect her to have a one-on-one (remember when we used to get them often on HW shows?) with Keiarna...her biggest enemy so far. Good they came to a truce. And then...she brought Temu to the event, causing jaws to drop!!! KEEP SURPRISING, BABY KENYA!!! hehe.

TIA. Carrying that bone to Gizelle. Smh.

ANGEL. I have to give her her one good one. I love that she picked up on (and was rightfully angry and showed it) what the ladies was doing with the word 'catfish.' As she should. But...I just don't feel she's built for this. Moreso if she really did try to make a break for it and run back to Colorado. Then again, we are getting a trip out of it. Perhaps Gizelle was right and it's Angel's way of managing to stay on the show. In any case, she has to stop being obsessed with Wendy. At least until the reunion when she would be in bounds to start mess with Wendy. And I STILL feel Wendy would eat her up.

And a good TO BE CONTINUED...which RHOP has honestly been doing this season. So I'm now one episode behind and a new one tonight.

Can't wait!!!

So he might not at all be what he seems when he did make appearances on the show?

Angel redeemed herself with me tonight. she is whacking Gizelle and Ashley again and again and again. its delicious to watch them get a dose of their own medicine

I cannot agree more!

Finally, Angel's tagline about hell having no fury like an Angel scorned makes sense. She delighted in giving Gizelle and Ashley a taste of the hazing they've put her through.

It blows me away that Gizelle and Ashley can be so bewildered at Angel's revenge on them. Don't they realize they've been totally and utterly shitty to her? At Monique's event, Ashley was sure sucking in her cheeks hard to try and give off haughty frustration. She just comes across like a total arsehole. She really is a piece of work.
