Oh, yeah, I know they did that and started showing it online with the quickness. It doesn't look good at all.

Yeeessss!!! I was thinking that, too. I want to say it was OGNY that did two sets of taglines within a season as well. I don't know yet if it will be that or Shady Phae Phae's tagline just getting added though.

I'm sure I'll get around to it because Angela has been doing a masterclass on how to be a fan favorite effortlessly Brit could take note and Drew will be doing her usual 'second half being the center storyline' thing that she always winds up doing. I heard Drew were taking on everyone this past Sunday. I just don't feel a rush to watch. Heck...I'm at the VANDERPUMP VILLA reunion episode...and I've been so busy that I only saw the first 5 minutes. That was WEEKS ago. But I can say this much...the amount of chaos and mess that was in that 5 minutes has been greater than the several episodes of RHOA I've behind on. If I had to pick which to watch...RHOA would lose. Thankfully...soaps trump all. lol. When I get time.

Yep - it was one of old NYC's last couple seasons, with Leah. They all got new taglines at the midway mark.

Ouch to those ratings, but they've been way down all season. My guess is the Memorial Day weekend definitely didn't help them.

I hear we only have 5 episodes left before reunion, so I'm assuming they don't all get new taglines. I bet just Phaedra is added. We'll see!

Brit belongs on a low-budget, second-tier-cable-network show, not here. I have my doubts about Kelli also, but at least I like Kelli. Brit is practically an IG hologram. This is the cast member that production backed instead of Kenya? A fake pushing end-of-factory-line shapewear in a market already cornered by Spanx, SKIMS and tariffs?

I'm putting it out there: Cynthia, Kenya and Nene need to return full-time next year. And given this brewing beef between Shamea and Porsha, I'm surprised that Kandi hasn't popped up as Shamea's FOH. She'd have lots to say on how Porsha blocked Shamea from joining RHOA earlier, I'm sure.

I'm usually good at remembering all things OG RHONY, but I do not remember them changing up their taglines midway, but then again if it was a Leah season (i.e. the final two struggle-bus years), then I can understand the blurry recollection.

RHOA is such a cluster of good and bad, good cast-members and sad try-hards. I had to chuckle at the series low Nielsen numbers for the return of one-note Phaedra.

Indeed, it would suit Bravo and everyone involved if they had a reconciliation with Miss Nene Leakes. That'll get the eyeballs back.

Britt and that sad non-event. Oy... I think I'd rather attend a Robyn Dixon event.

Side Note: Are you guys watching Love Hotel? We are loving this silly nonsense! Luann's endless horniess, Ashley's endless juggle between men, Shannon being her usual basket case, and Gizelle just being a buddy to the guys while collecting her paycheck. I'm actually rooting for Gizelle to have herself a lil fun (ain't nothing holding The Countess or lil Miss Darby back from having a good time) but she's mainly standoffish from getting close to anyone.

Also, did we discuss the whispers about Dolores from RHONJ potentially being a part of the new Real Housewives of Rhode Island cast as a friend-of?  (If we did, my apologies, I'm getting old, haha). She apparently has real-life connections to some of the cast and has a home there? I'm down for that. She's the only RHONJ cast member I'd like to salvage from the wreck.

    • -- I agree that the vibes are there, but I can also make the case that it's a pale imitation. That Neil Winters Lounge is already a pretty classy place, but the decor make it look tackier. Those Happy Birthday signs are tragic in design and color. The tablecloths look like they've been chosen by Helen Keller. Where is Claire? We hear stupid reasons for her lateness, but we all know it's because this show is too cheap to pay for too many actors in any one episode. It makes NO sense that Victoria has that toast to Nikki without Claire's presence. And where is Cole? Off coughing somewhere? -- The rest of the show was watching people open their black invitations from Alexander Dumas -- for a party on June 13...TWO WEEKS AWAY. So we got through the entire sweeps and still no Dumas? The big sweeps reveal is a party in France in 2 weeks??? Why anyone thinks this is good soap is beyond me.
    • Chandler Massey smirked in EVERY scene in which he appeared. He's not a good actor. He cannot get into character, ever, and plays every scene like he's Chandler running into an old friend on the street. I hate it because actors should take their work seriously and respect it and everyone around them.   It's all so real, to the point where there's no sense trying to separate Drake from his character. I snarked a lot over the years about Drake Hogestyn's acting -- very arch, lots of tics, over-the-top at times -- but I also think he was a great soap star. There was so much humanity in everything he did, and he was always a comforting and stabilizing force on screen. Flashbacks on soaps are almost always special and fun, but does anyone come across as more loving and filled with humanity than John? I don't think so. DAYS has suffered a lot of loss in the past few years. For me, this one hits the hardest.
    • “I’m not a lifelong soap fan, but I sure am now,” Wolf tells PEOPLE about creating the documentary Soaps, which includes deep dives into the biggest and most successful soap operas in the industry, with a strong focus on The Bold and the Beautiful. “It reflects, in a broader way, the cultural significance of soap operas and the incredible task involved in bringing these stories to the screen every day.”
    • I have this for the 4th act on 11/9/88, which per my files, is the first time John and Stefano are in a scene together: Limo (Roman, Diana, Stefano, Milo) Then their second time together is 11/17/88 in the second-to-last act: ON LOCATION: Beach & Cliff (Diana, Roman, Stefano) I'd have to check the 2016 logs, so I don't know who shares scenes as easily in this year, but these are the last 4 episodes that John and Stefano were both in together: 1/8/16, 1/11/16, 3/1/16, 3/2/16.
    • I'm going to respond to you about this show. I've been accused of hating on it for some reason or another. But as a 53-year-old black man I do not hate this show at all. It heavily represents people like me, but I want it to be treated well and not just pushed with half-assedness, which is what I feel has happened on several occasions so far. Bad editing, bad cliffhangers, or no cliffhangers at all, disappearing characters with dropped storylines, etc. I can understand shows no longer wanting certain characters or  storylines, but why the "Judy Winslow" effect? I'm really finding it weird that Jacob doesn't mention his father or his detective partner. Jacob was smack dab in the middle of them both.
    • I love many things about BTG very much. For me, it's greatest strength is how the family relationships are so beautifully written. The deep love between family members while acknowledging each other's flaws--it's SO GOOD.  The best of the best is the two sister relationships: loving but very different sisters Dani and Nicole and adversarial sisters Kat and Eva. These two relationships can anchor the show for many years to come, in my opinion. (The one caveat is that the young and very talented Colby and Ambyr may want to leave the show sooner rather than later, but that's to be expected). My biggest problem with this show is this: Where are the romantic love stories? Where are the star-crossed lovers? Almost every character on this show is married, or in a committed relationship, or just fooling around. Right now the only potential for this are in the Ashley/Andre/Derek and Kat/Tomas/Eva situations. Like a lot of people, I feel the sooner they ditch Ashley and Derek, the better. I hate picking on actors, but the characters are so blah and bland it's like they're a parody of soap characters. I like Andre, and there's some indication they might have him become more serious about Dani, but I don't see that becoming a big love story. I could be wrong. Kat and Eva fighting over a man would be amazing. Over Tomas? No.  I've noticed on social media some people are starting to ship Kat and Jacob. I think that shows how much viewers long for a messy love story. There is much I enjoy about BTG and I have no intention of bailing on it. But over all my many years of watching soap operas, the thing that always got me the most excited about them was the question: "When are those two finally going to get together?"

Some initial thoughts.   1) a Who's who back in the day with an assortment of well known performers. 2) Surprised Debra Messing would agree to play a conservative character 3) Not surprised a network didn't pick this up because showing a conservative that is human/likable is a no no in Hollywood LOL
    • Yes from when they went on Let’s Make a Deal too. Pam stole Forrester designs for Jackie M. Of course a month later we saw Nick, Lesley, Owen, and Bridget all exit in the same episode.
