So, I just noticed Brandi and Lisa were more or less communicating on Twitter. Lisa did the ice bucket challenge then made three nominations and they were Brandi Glanville, Brandi Glanville and Brandi Glanville. Brandi then proceeded to do the challenge (with just ice) just once.

So then I googled Lisa and Brandi to see what's been happening and apparently there's been a cease fire of sorts

Aww hell naw at Tamra having my poor Lizzie in tears! But I am glad from the trailer that they are coming for Trashra's ass.

From tonight's episode, I've come to the conclusion that I do not like Heather and Terry at all. How they spoke to David and Shannon was just gross. I love how Shannon and David kept their composure. David's smug smile had Terry shook and livid. :P I do wish though that Lizzie would've dug into Tamra's ass when she shifted the dinner from something positive to something negative. I was moved at the end when Vicki cried about Brianna leaving. I felt she was genuinely upset to lose her daughter while Tamra's jurassic aged ass was crying to camera time.

Overall, I thought the finale was a good ending to a good season. RHOC really brought it this year. I hope they keep these ladies (yes, even Trailer Sue) but tosses a wrench into things by bringing back Gretchen, Alexis, Jeana, and Laurie for season ten. Might as well bring back all the heavy hitters for the 10th season.

Why Queen Lisa?! Why forgive this gutter butt bitch?!

Pressed? No. :P

I just don't think Lisa should forgive her so easily after Brandi tried (and failed miserably) to stage a coup last season. And let's be honest, Brandi is playing nice b/c she received a huge backlash from the fans and she's trying to mend fences because she knows that Lisa will win at the end of the day.

It's reality television in the 2010s so it was all probably semi-scripted in the first place.

I do enjoy the show better when Brandi and Lisa are getting along and throwing shade together though so hopefully we end up back there. Ultimately, I'm watching the show to be entertained not to be annoyed. I was annoyed a lot last season.

    • I really have no problem with Kai as a character or with the actor. The problem is putting together two very nice people -- Kai and Trina. Neither of them has a bad side, neither of them has a devil on the shoulder, neither of them is impulsive. I think that's a problem in a soap relationship. Yeah, I agree. All this freaking out might make sense if Lulu wanted to do a tabloid expose on BLQ's LOVE CHILD. We have no indication that's the case.
    • So Sonni would have somebody to talk to who she wasn't conspiring with (Will or Alan)? Alex kept telling Sonni how important her friends were...when she had virtually no friends. Instead they created loyal servants like Jane and Vera to give Alex people to play off of. They did that with Iris on AW, but Vivien was mostly there for comic relief Alex keeping Marah's paternity a secret was absurd. But I still love the scene between Alex and Alan where he convinces her by reminding her how they protected each other from their abusive father. Chris and Bev ATE that scene. Unfortunately, that took place only a few months before he exited the show...always thought they could have built on that, explored more how being Brandon's children screwed them both up. Maybe even used it as an explanation for the way their relationship could constantly swing from hatred to love. Instead of it being merely dictated by the plot.
    • The first one is Cass Winthrop dressed as Krystle Lake on Another World (not from his original creation of the character to hide from the loan shark Tony the Tuna, but at a romance convention trying to find out what had happened to Felicia who was missing). The second one is also Another World, Jake McKinnon as Doris although I don't recall what his purpose was.
    • I know there was one brief scene in the summer of 1989 where Lillian did mention Calla.. but in relation to her past relationship to Ross and it was to Roger while he was a patient at Cedars.  I think he was trying to pump her for information on Ross.. and for some reason, Calla's name came up.   I could see perhaps Beth mentioning that her mother Lillian was visiting Calla.. but not exactly giving any sort of details as to the going ons in Calla's life off screen.

    • They're neither great nor terrible AFAIK, but it is more a question of the streaming numbers in this day and age vs. actual TV airings. The Chibnall era reminded me much more of the crisis years, but I do think it's a very real possibility now as well due to the streaming bubble collapse affecting the show and its prospects.
    • ANYTHING to get her off the screen..she COULD have been interesting if she and Van had a few face offs..(there was a mild one of her going back to work...but I wanted something meatier "Bitch, I am Vanessa Chamberlain and I don't take advice from someone who followed the..career path you did!" I did like Alex's outright disdain for her.
    • Thanks @Vee for the commentary.    I haven’t even watched this season yet after  I couldn’t get past the couple episodes last season…like it was too Disneyified for my taste, although I did think it was a least better than the Chibnall era (but so is a lot of things). I’ll probably go back and binge it now. Hoping this season ends on a high note. I did read the ratings are terrible. As it stands I’m beginning to feel like what long time DW fans felt with S26 in 1989.
    • Yes, they are all on contract. Next.
