Bravo's The Real Housewives of....

It makes me a little sad that I now find Kyle the least annoying of the RHOBH chicks. I feel like she's the only one that doesn't hold an epic grudge. She'll hate you to the core but she'll still play with you.

The storylines need a shake-up: resentful housewives versus indignant Lisa as well as Brandi talking a little too much then whining about being a victim due to consequences of that. How they'll be able to accomplish that with Lisa and Brandi on the show (and I doubt those two or Kyle are going anywhere), I don't know.

Hopefully the ladies are smart enough and Bravo is smart enough to somehow force/edit storyline shifts because it's really tired and tedious.

It would be nice if Eddie relented and let the kids be on RHOBH particularly considering he'll now be doing a reality series with the step mother of his and Brandi's kids.

I do think adding Camille back to the mix would be great.

Joyce and Carlton are good firings if they have been fired. Joyce was both too "nice" and too boring for a show like RHOBH. Carlton's irrationality helped Kyle's image improve - work done.

Maybe add an African American chick and Lisa Rinna to the mix. I was against Lisa in the past but why not.

Kim is the most played out housewife of all the time. If there is anyone that ever stayed long past her expiration date it's her. She needs to GO. I'd switch out her for Marissa and I'd try to get the black baroness on board

I don't believe for a second Faye would step foot onto RHOBH....as Sheree would say "Bitch aint crazy!". She knows she'd be in for even worse treatment than her first run through. She's an absolute hot mess and even though I'm disappointed in Brandi and how she's treated Lisa I'd never in a million years wish for the Morally Corrupt Faye to hold a Diamond...just illl.

Faye should have held a diamond years ago. Its too bad people got crazy and sent her death threats. I would love to see her back at least as a friend especially after seemingly being vindicated as far as Brandi is concerned tis past season

I disagree and death threats are no joke but she was very OTT that season and those people represent such a small portion of the viewership so I don't know if that really impacted Bravo's decision or not.

That Lisa article was just pure WIN. The thought the Idiot Yolanda sitting at home waiting for Andy's call while sniffing the fumes of lemons and the herbacleanse she kept harping at my girl Kim about in her debut season is just PRICELESS! Meanwhile Lisa stays winning and popular. And you know she'll eventually turn PUMP into a show which I'll watch religiously. Speaking of I need to do a run thru of Season 2 of VR and get caught up on all the juicy drama.

SHE chose not to appear. Bravo wanted her. The death threats she got were enough to get her to back away bc she has herself, her business and her family to worry about. She needed to get out of the spotlight bc of all the negativity that was being hurled her way

Agreed. I think Joyce is a good supporting role housewife. Not one of the bigwigs like Lisa or Kyle, but a good "B" player like a Taylor or Kim (before she got her riveting storyline with Kingsley the dog). She's got a good head on her shoulders and can take a step back and examine the crazy in a civilized, well-spoken manner.

I wasn't trying to imply anything but I guess more power to her if she claims that she "chose" to not return. I have no information on whether the offer was there or not. And even her choosing to not return doesn't mean it was a foregone conclusion that Bravo was going to ask her to be an official HW right?

Either way she's not on the show and that's a positive for me. Joyce may be boring to some but she's a breath of fresh air for me and keeps it light and fun for me while also being able to mix it up with the other ladies (especially Brandi and the Idiot Yolanda).

When Eddie was riding that bull and flexing his muscles. in-love.png

Goodness Vicki is such a needy, rude b-tch!

Loving Danielle.

Cant wait for Shannon to have her psychotic break over Heather. The set up to the inevitable blow up has been delicious!

    • I hope for a multi-year renewal, too! This is the only show I've been excited to see the next episode in forever. Considering their demos are quite decent. the initial episodes showed there is still an interest in daytime, and it has helped to boost the rest of the soap line up at times, it should be around for a while.

    • I agree.  How many times did we have to watch Bobby vs. J.R., or Blake vs. Alexis, knowing that nothing would change at the end, and that everything would go back to status quo, so that they could fight the same, exhausting battles all over again?  If nothing else, I give FC and KL credit for trying to keep things fresh, even if I think FC, in particular, went too far in the other direction and became unrecognizable even to the most diehard fans. Exactly.  Plus, because viewers were so burned out by the kind of serialized storytelling that was beginning to affect even half-hour comedies, I think MSW represented a nice change of pace.  You didn't have to watch every week, or watch from the beginning of each season, to know what was going on with Miss Fletcher.  Instead, you could watch a complete story in one episode, de-stress from whatever had happened in your own life last week, gear yourself up for the week ahead, and be okay. If you notice, though, there were differences between those two shows and what Aaron Spelling had produced in the past.  For one thing, there was a greater emphasis on youth; and while characters on 90210 and MP certainly had more disposable incomes than the average viewer, their wealth wasn't as opulent as what we'd seen on DYNASTY or on "Hart to Hart."  Even the battles among Alison, Amanda, Billy and others at that advertising agency weren't as histrionic as those between Denver Carrington and ColbyCo.
    • I saw a conversation yesterday with Liam with the 7 dwarves hat and Steffy -  I know she did not say re: Hope and Liam said - well look at Finn and you forgave him right?      I know I did not hear Steffy say “well but you can’t compare that to…”  For *uck sake someone call the bitch out!?     You’re right, we shouldn’t compare your forgiveness for the dude with devil spawn seed whose daughter locked you in a cage along with crazy stepmom/mom/Grandmother who has also SHOT YOU BOTH - and multiple murder attempts but you have to exist with them / Hope’s part in a takeover which you know was FAR LESS THAN CARTER BECAUSE HOPE IS NOT AN ATTORNEY…. Goodness no, no the same thing at alllllllll.   When they do Steffy’s absence at least let it be because they all find out what a manipulative ho she is in her own right.
    • I think a lot of us still agree with that. I do hope that the resurgence in the soap world with Beyond the Gates will push ABC to either bring back these shows or produce a newer one.
    • So, this was fun. Elsewhere, friendly to polls, a poll on what do you want to see at the Nurses Ball. The Gio reveal got 18%, for Blaze to return & sing also got 18%, for Jennifer Hudson to do a cameo & sing got 10% and for Lucy to lose various parts of clothing got 9% but the huge one was the reveal of Drew/Nina sex which got a whopping 45%!
    •   I liked the effect of the curtains closing. Yeah it was like the end of Act I.   Or maybe they are simply trying to emphasize the drama of the end of an episode -- instead of a random abrupt end that has happened in some prior episodes.
    • I posted this in the behind the scenes thread but I know this thread is busier so wanted to mention it here as well. During their instagram live yesterday, Daphnee Duplaix and Trisha Mann-Grant mentioned that they will find out this month if the show is renewed for another season. Just a heads up so we can keep an eye out for an announcement and keep our fingers crossed for a multi-year renewal!
    • They haven't explained the ownership of the Bistro, but Doug told Holly the other day he didn't get the job there. Basically Roman just hired Doug on the spot and gave him a room.  It was really nice of Roman.  I don't know if he knows who Doug is or that he stole Julie's necklace.  That was unclear-at least to me. ETA-I feel like the Bistro might just die and people will just pretend to order food there like Leo did today.  Sophia is on bed rest so no one works there anymore.  They can use that set for something else.
    • I'm not sure how I felt about it, but I do kind of like that it felt like the show telling us this concludes the first chapter of the series. Could be interesting if they only do it for big aftermath episodes. The biggest mistake with Martin is that it's almost hard to buy his anger because we've gotten no strong scenes with him and his parents. They've all been with Anita/Vernon. I can't even remember him ever even saying one word to Nicole, even in passing.
