Random... does anyone feel like Alexis was an escort that Jim picked out to be his wife? Honestly. The way they talk about how the meant, the way shes on a new journey of god and learning and he is her teacher, how he controls her... idk... some stuff makes me wonder.

Wow, for the first time since I entered the Real Housewives world, I sat through an entire premiere episode of OC and was entertained! I love Gretchen. I don't care what her faults are, she's just so damn pretty and I love her laugh. I think she'd be better off with less make-up though. She's young; she doesn't need all that goop on her face.

Back to my favorite group, the Beverly Hills bitches: I totally agree with others that Splits and Rambles Richards were trying to twist Duchess Yolanda's words, but neither she nor Queen Lisa were going to fall for it. Yes, there were some comments made, but nothing as vicious or behind-the-back like Rambles tried to insinuate.

I do get Princess Brandi's point about Splits always discrediting Rambles' sobriety, but I can understand why Splits would be cautiously optimistic... it just comes off as pessimistic.

As erratic as she was, Rambles did more at the reunion than Taylor. There was just nothing for Taylor to even discuss, considering most of her storyline was cut out.

It was nice to see the girls cheering on Queen Lisa at DWTS. You can just see the joy on Princess Brandi's face; she is genuinely happy for her.

I can sip some Pinot and breathe a sigh of relief. It was announced that New York is returning.

New Jersey is returning June 2nd.

Lisa's Vanderpump Rules is also getting a second season.

P.S. On the Bravo TV topic, I'm SO glad Tabatha's returning this Thursday!

Well, it's Official. Phaedra has her spinoff.

I hope there's interesting people. I know she said way back when she once represented Bobby Brown but I don't care about him.

Oh you can read about the bazillion other shows Bravo has returning or greenlit by clicking here.

Faye was mentioned at the reunion but it was left on the editing room floor and will be on the "Secrets Revealed" episode next week. Bravo has a clip of the "Faye segment" on Bravotv.com. I watched it last night and let's just say that Yolanda, Lisa, and Brandi went in on Kyle (especially Yo & Lisa). Here is the clip:

Speaking of Faye . . . her friend, Daniel, who recently did an article bashing Faye and saying she is a b*tch for real, got a high-five from Lisa last night after her performance on DWTS, and Kyle called him an "!@#$%^&*]" and was defending Faye even more.

BH

So Paul was this season's abused housewife? Adrienne was right. Pathetic.

Kyle looked so mean, ugly and nervous through the entire reunion. I've had enough of her fake soap opera crying and the eighties dramatic hair touching. She was so afraid of what her wacko sister might say during the interview I almost fell sorry for her.

Kim was a disaster once again. I can't stand addicts who play the victim card all the time and her attacks on Yolanda made her look even more pathetic. The Richards sisters are pure trash in my eyes, the only difference between them is that Kyle is sleazier. Kyle can have two types of women around her. Rich ones with a lot of money to spend and needy troubled women with a lot of baggage she can gossip about in order to feel that everything in her life is normal.

I hope Taylor (whom I like) had a great time as an audience during the reunion.

London,

Yep, Kyle will defend Faye's rubbermaid head ass until the end of time, but Faye will only defend Kyle if equates camera time/exposure.

And you're welcome, Chit! wink.png I saw the clip last night. I knew they had to bring up Faye's disgusting behind somehow. I still wish that they would've invited Faye and Marisa, and Camille would accepted her invitation to the reunion. That would've filled the void of Adrienne not being there to receive her tongue lashing b/c Faye would've got it instead. It would've been a blood bath had these three women came.

Now onto RHOC:

I can already tell that this going to be another dull ass season of Vicki bitching and moaning her life and blaming Gretchen and Slade for all that is wrong, Dumblexis being petty and subservient, and Trampra playing both sides of the fence. I can see her stabbing Gretchen in the back for Vicki and I feel that Lynne will factor into this somehow.

And I'm sorry but RHOC needs to scrap that fugly ass powerpoint '98 opening. All the other franchises have updated theirs, so RHOC needs to do the same. This just shows how cheap and how low this show is on the totem pole of HWs shows. Hell, RHOM got a new opening and they get the same rating #s as RHOC does.

Ugh. Just keep Heather, Gretchen, and possibly Lydia (depending on how she is this season) and reboot this show. Sorry but Vicki needs to go. I'm over her miserable, ham hock lookin' ass. I'm over Jesus Jugs, and I'm over Barnyard animal too. Her bitchy antics aren't even funny like Goddess Linnethia's are. She tries too hard. I'm gonna watch, but I'm going to be counting down the days till RHONYC or RHOM swoops in and relieve these women of their duty.

Loved the RHOBH reunion because the gloves went off!

Kim (Rambles) was a mess as usual and is positively marinating in her role as the gin soaked victim.

Kyle (Splits) looked so ugly, melodramatic and nervous, as if she knew, at a moment's notice, everyone was going to turn on her...she had to settle for 3/5 remaining Wives to show their disdain.

Taylor did nothing, I'll be surprised if she returns because, although she totally redeemed herself and was actually enjoyable to watch, she instigated nothing.

Princess Brandi handled herself well. I'm glad she said Splits would be happy if Rambles fell off the wagon because I think she's 100% correct.

Duchess Yolanda did very well shutting the Richards sisters down. Like a boss. I get the impression Andy doesn't really like her, I hope she gets another season because she was sublime.

Her Majesty The Queen delivered the most delicious lines of the night as she concluded that Kyle is a lying, backstabbing bitch in the most elegant way possible.

    • I'm sorry. I well remember Jake doing Doris but I have no independent memory of the story around it.  Krystle with a K Lake, sure, both Tony the Tuna stories & NOT.  And, Jake also impersonated a woman named Bunny Eberhardt but he didn't know she was a woman so there was no drag. This weekend I re-watched Kevin & Mac, GH, and my strong impression is exactly what it was when I watched it in real time: They did not let them look very pretty. Of course, I think the best ever drag on GH was Alexis posing as the Q butler.  In a different use of drag at AW one Halloween, Jensen Buchanan went as Charlie Chaplin & Judi Evans went as, I think, a male gypsy.

    • I'm not sure who wanted them to dump REUNION & instead do a "Dallas-like daytime show" but it seems that it def came from NBC to AW through Rauch, so, yes, it absolutely could have been his (cough-another-stupid?) decision!!!! I've just begun the new Lisanti book so maybe I will find out. (I waited for the kindle version to come out.) I would apologize for being so critical & so sarcastic, too, but, well, I'm not actually sorry!  Silverman was NOT a friend to AW.  And, I believe the critique is on point & deserved! I wanted to explain why I think the timing is off for the 90 minute show to be a reaction to the GH Luke & Laura story & its hype. Because, for sure, networks & production companies did react to it! The first 90 minute show was Monday, March 5, 1979.  And, there was some unknown amount of time ahead of that with people arguing about it & then, planning it.  The Luke & Laura wedding was mid-November 1981.  They were on the run from Frank Smith & stayed overnight in Wyndham's Dept. Store early August 1980.
    • terrible at using forums and inserting photos, but jake in another world had a drag persona named doris, anyone know the episode or year? http://www.anotherworldhomepage.com/ffad19.jpg
    • Yes, I am familiar with Fred Silverman. Agree, the 90 minute AW a very poor decision by Silverman. I think Silverman was behind the decision to go with Texas.
    • Thanks -- you're doing God's work The Gio reveal was everything I hoped for and more. GH got it right. Head to toe, GM is a stunning physical specimen.
    • I really wonder how they'll handle Netflix's usual long breaks between seasons. That girl is going to grow up fast... makes me wonder if this wouldn't have been a better fit for HBO Max considering they're leaning into a more broadcast style of production model with The Pitt.
    • I agree -- I didn't suspect Ted, either. I think a lot of people are giving themselves way too much credit in predicting Ted's problems

And can I have a different take on Ted here? Yes, he's made a huge mistake with this Leslie debacle, and yes, he has to suffer and pay for it. But does that make Ted a terrible human being? I don't think it does. He made a horrific mistake over 2 decades ago, and as far as we know, he's been a good husband and father since. As far as we know, he hasn't strayed or violated his marriage since. He didn't know that he fathered another child, and thought he "removed" Leslie from his life. I won't blame Nicole if she doesn't forgive him, but I also won't blame her if she decides what they have and what they've had more than makes up for what he did. Ted is getting dragged far more than Bill is on these boards, and I think Bill is MUCH worse as a husband and father. How many times did he cheat on Dani during their marriage? How many times did he do vile things in his role as fixer? How much did he hurt his daughters by screwing their friend and marrying her? With Keith Robinson coming in as Ted, maybe we'll see a character change in direction and we'll discover that Ted has many flaws and always had a dark side. For now, though, I'm inclined to both be angry with Ted for hurting his family while also sympathizing with him. I know what you mean, but I do think that was intentional. So much was going on in that episode, and I think they decided not to let Nicole's reaction be lost in all that. Nicole will get those scenes that you're asking for.
    • That was the original point of me sending you her 6 airdates, so now with those, and the link to the daily episode guide I've provided, that should help you more easily find the additional Ruth Buzzi scenes. I will always repeat myself when it comes to defending my data that I've taken decades to research and compile. But, as you pointed out in a recent post, I am kind, so at least I will do it with you in a kind way as opposed to the usual social media way most people do with just getting rude/nasty. That's not my style, as you correctly pointed out earlier this week, and never will be.  So, all is well!

    • Ambyr Michelle continues to be *that girl.* She’s just a star, period. Elevates every scene she’s in on the sheer strength of her emotional realism and charisma. Can sell any dialogue. I wish the show veered away from the B&B-style scripting. TMG/Leslie’s tirade stood out, I suppose, but she’s getting a bit mustache-twirly. And I wish DD had more to do in that episode than stand and sob.
    • Well, that was down to CBS being weak and not being willing to just pulling the plug entirely. They didn't want to commit to cancelling the show in case they needed it for their schedule basically; plus they kept showing that they were willing to make cuts if needed to be.
