LOL ironic that I wrote that and that ish was the final puzzle on Wheel tonight... damn!

Amanda

P4E9A.jpg

Amanda is a woman with a lot of baggage – and not just the Louis Vuitton

variety! Joining the cast for Season Two, Amanda is best described as a
bad girl gone good. A recovering alcoholic, Amanda has given up her
partying ways and found strength in a life of sobriety and healthy
living.

Although Amanda has traded in her wild lifestyle, she’s far from being
tame. A self-confessed sex addict with a short temper, she enjoys a
passionate and fiery relationship with her gorgeous long-distance
boyfriend, Kyle, who lives south of the border in Seattle, WA.

Recently divorced from a man who took care of everything, Amanda doesn’t
have to work to maintain her luxurious lifestyle, and her main focus
lies on raising her three children, ages 10, seven and five, on
Vancouver’s North Shore.

She believes that honesty is always the best policy. As a result,
Amanda is quick to call people out on their lies and bad behavior – a
trait which earns her a lot of respect…and enemies!

Ioulia

ZZd4j.jpg

Joining the cast for Season Two, Ioulia (pronounced Yoo-lee-ah) is a Russian-born beauty who
immigrated to Canada over 11 years ago with her family.

Married to a wealthy venture capitalist almost 20 years her senior,
Ioulia has a fierce desire to build a career and be independent but
currently relies on her husband for financial support as she tries to
find her feet. Having studied at Sotheby’s in London, Ioulia hopes to
make her mark as a broker in the high stakes art world.

While Ioulia’s marriage may garner cynicism from the other wives, she
and her husband of five years are deeply in love. They share a passion
for art, fashion and luxury cars. Ioulia also prides herself on being
the cool stepmother of his four children. Ioulia and her husband live in
the prestigious Coal Harbour.

With an exotic accent, a fiery Russian temper and a unique sense of
humour that doesn't always translate, Ioulia frequently elicits a raised
eyebrow or headshake from the other wives, who can't quite figure out
if their new comrade is a friend or a foe!

Robin

FJRdP.jpg

They say everything’s bigger in Texas and Robin’s outgoing personality is
certainly proof of that. Robin moved to Vancouver from the Lone Star
State 19 years ago and brought with her a deep southern twang and a
passion for riding horses. A mother of two young girls, Robin lives a
country chic lifestyle complete with two nannies, a Point Grey home and a
Prada saddle for her European Warmblood horse, Giggy – all thanks to a
healthy settlement from her recent divorce – yeehaw!

Joining the cast for Season Two, Robin feels that Vancouver women need
to loosen up and start breaking the rules. Although her southern roots
are founded on strong Christian values, Robin’s appetite for gossip and
penchant for partying often put her at odds with her belief system, and
the other wives. But adversity is no sweat for this southern belle.
With eight years of experience working in Dallas-area prisons, Robin is a
tough-as-nails straight shooter with a heart as big as Texas and a
mouth to match!

Mary

Aeqyt.jpg

You can’t call this single mom a former pop princess anymore!

Prior to starting a family, Mary enjoyed a successful singing career
that included several songs on the top 40 charts. She put that career on
hold to raise her three children. With her sons, ages 14, 16 and 18
now growing up, Mary has emerged from hiatus and stepped back into the
spotlight with the release of her new song Hero. While Mary continues
to promote her single, she is also pursuing other business
opportunities, including her own cosmetics line, BUFF Beauty.

Mary lives in a luxurious waterfront penthouse with her children and the
main man in her life, George – a Yorkshire terrier. A romantic at
heart, Mary is hoping to find a companion of the two legged variety to
share her life with, and is ready to start looking for love.

With big vocals that belie her petite stature, Mary has surprised
audiences with her powerful voice – both behind the microphone and in
several heated arguments! However, as Mary returns for Season Two
without her allies from last year for support, it will take everything
she’s got to hold her ground and prove that it’s never too late to make a
comeback!

Ronnie

EmK8g.jpg

Owning multiple homes side-by-side in an exclusive, waterfront area of West
Vancouver only begins to showcase the enviable lifestyle that defines
Ronnie. A yacht, a private jet, and a Black Amex are just some of the
toys that Ronnie has at her disposal.

Happily married to her husband of 11 years, Ronnie has four children as
well as a step-daughter, ranging from 6 to 24 years of age. In early
2011, Ronnie’s daughter, Remy, who has special needs, experienced a
traumatic near-death experience. It still deeply affects Ronnie to this
day.

When she’s not spending time with her family, Ronnie loves to kick up
her heels and let her hair down. A self-described domestic goddess,
professional shopper, shrink, international jetsetter and mom, Ronnie is
drawn to a good heart, loves a good secret, and better yet – a good
party!

Ronnie returns in Season Two to unresolved conflict between the Wives.
Despite some new resolutions, old habits die-hard...with Ronnie's
renewed appreciation for no nonsense, she is prepared to take down
anything - or anyone - that stands in her way!

Jody

krhz0.jpg

From her fashion sense to her philosophy, Jody is outlandish, outrageous and

over-the-top. Returning for Season Two, Jody remains everyone’s
favourite queen, or queen of mean, depending on what camp you’re in,
while continuing to balance a busy schedule with family, work and play.
With three children, Jody is a devoted Jewish mother, who will soon be
sending her son, Joshua, 17, off to university, while her fashionista
daughters, Hannah, 5, and Mia, 26, return as her sidekicks - the latter,
as Jody’s consummate partner in crime.

A successful, self-made business woman with an empire that includes an
upscale boutique, a fashion line, a tea house and a catering company,
Jody promises to mark her return to the culinary world this season with a
big splash.

Always at the centre of drama and controversy, Jody is not afraid to
stand her ground and tell it like it is. Whether her feisty, fearless
attitude will win her friends or make her more enemies remains to be
seen. The only thing you can be sure of is that you never know what
she’ll say – or wear – next.

Ronnie looks really good.

Thanks!

Amanda looks too damn old to be wearing a dress like that.

Ioulia. Not sure how to pronounce her name yet but she looks like she could cut a bitch (and for all we know already has!)

Robin, I hate her hair and those bangs!

Mary. Her face and those cheeks still bother me

Ronnie. So glad to see her back. She looks great

Why the hell is Jody wearing that big coat? She looks like the oddball out

It's like "Julia" but instead of "Ju" you say "You." Yulia!

I'm so glad there is a Russian HW. Russian women are mystery, bitchery, drama and high cheekbones rolled into one. I know -- we have a couple who live in my building. I am fascinated by them!

Ronnie is gorgeous. Robin would be, too, if it wasn't for that awful hair which makes her face look a bit beak-y.

Dare I say Taylor looked good this week?

Im so glad the show was a real episode and not all focused on the Brandi vs waitress ho as speculated bc that wouldnt have worked She actually went on tv crying about Eddie and LeAnn? I hate when side pieces try to act like they have rights and act like they are special. No bitch, you aint sh-t and only one of many!

LOL...it WAS an episode of Vanerpump Rules. The premiere was the same night, right after RHoBH. I tried to like that Stasi, but I just cant. She's too much of a stuck up bitch. She looks like and reminds me of Grace from BB UK

Watched BH - I am going to need Princess Brandi to go IN on the morally corrupt fay resnick and DRAG her desperate, hypocritical ass like I know she can. Queen Lisa can stand by for support if needed. Faye is the new Pam. Her desperation and thirst for a spot on the show seeps out of pours and through the screen. Brandi got her spot because she, quite frankly, didnt give a !@#$%^&*]. Faye is no Brandi.

Speaking of Brandi, loved her and Lisas talk about her meeting up with the mistress. Love how she handled that whole meeting. "dont cry" lol. I felt so bad for her too. And you know Eddie & LeAnn are seething at this whole ordeal going down.

Um thats about all my thoughts i think... Yolnada is fab and on too little. The new woman is great so far. Kyle is awful. Adrienne is disgusting. Taylor is so fake I cant even comment.

Loved Lisa's new show. I have a friend who is on it though, so id say that even if i hated it, lol. I liked how the transition from RHOBH to Vanderpump Rules was seamless.

Who is Pam?

I forgot to mention but Kyle is a sneaky bitch! She invited Faye to be her mouthpiece so that she could go in on Brandi and then she goes outside to comfort her! She got to be the bitch and hero in that situation. So transparent. Brandi do not trust her!

    • Don't even put that idea out there!
    • I liked the food poisoning angle on Thursday because I said beforehand that I would be annoyed if Vanessa was not there at her BFF's party. And I loved they already planned ahead in the dialogue. lol.   But watching the scene (and a bit of a rewind), it hit me. Wait is she...??? Ooo gurrrl. lol.
    • I'm not at all surprised the 10 lowest-rated episodes are all from Season Seven. Moving The Golden Girls from 9 p.m. to 8 p.m. was foolish.
    • As the folklore goes, Love Boat episodes generally had one "heart" story, one "laughs" story, and one "tears" story. I guess Hotel just stuck with "heart" and "tears."
    • I thought food poisoning was an odd reason for Vanessa to miss the party.  That's why I appreciate reading everyone's comments and theories on this thread.  Oh!!  It hadn't occurred to me to speculate that she might be pregnant. I figured that she and Doug ate different things.  But pregnancy fits better.  I did think Shanice's dialogue delivery was slightly awkward (unusual for her)... but that would make sense if Shanice knew Vanessa had a pregnancy test but Vanessa said don't tell Doug.  I love all this theorizing/speculating, especially since we have no idea what will happen.
    • I want that as well, but given how much I've been playing catch-up during some personal/family drama, it's been background music with very little to hold my interest. Then I saw a spoiler and rolled my eyes.   Very. I guess JG is hitting another of his low points.
    • Well...unexpected wiggle room is still wiggle room.   I went back and finally rewatched Friday's episode (along with Thursday's). And God, how those episodes flowed. It did help that Zimmerman did the breakdowns for both so the plot threads were cohesive. I do wonder if she did it today as well. Martin and Tate also of course did good scripts. And I might have to take back my earlier comment about the crowd. While it was not like Nicole's Award Event where I felt there were more extras (and was in the minority on that), I felt this one did not have enough (also in the minority). But on a rewatch, I did like that Production actually did a fairly decent job of covering it up so kudos.    I also wanted to take the moment to say the majority of the week before last (and this past week) were full of cliffhangers. Perhaps not what is used to, but they were there. And I loved that since the majority of said cliffhangers were connected to Silk Press Sheila, it gave an intensity and build to the last week leading to this superb episode that gave us not only an old school soap reveal (complete with moments to let the scenes breathe, but annoyed in how other scenes which were also good did not compare...another sign of knowing when a reveal is great) but, THREE cliffhangers!!! Well-done, Cliffhanger Friday!!!   Ms. Mann and Ms. Michelle were clearly the stars. I've said it once someone mentioned it and I'll say it again...Ambyr just gives so much SMG's version of Kendall on AMC in Eva, and I love that. And that reveal on Silk Press Sheila...WOW. Great to have confirmation that BILL was the lawyer. Even better to see Silk Press interacting with all of the Duprees and not being a bit scared. And yes, I caught that she was preggers at the same time as Nicole. I also caught in the Martin vs Ted scene when he was talking about the timeline was another clue...since we discussed the timeline during Kat's birthday party episodes and how odd it was that Silk Press Sheila would celebrate Eva's birthday if the weeks were off. UNLESS...they're not. I just feel they would not be mentioning it unless SilkPress has a 90s DAYS Sami Trump card incoming. And 90s DAYS Sami Brady ALWAYS had a trump card. So...looking forward to today. lol.    I'm also going to be in the minority about the next thought. I thought Maurice did a good job as Ted in the reveal scenes. Though I do agree that compared to everyone else...even his FOINE doctor friend...he was the weak leak. DD was giving and she was in the background reacting. The Avengers...I mean...the Duprees closing ranks...was great and also showed how in sync the actors were. Naomi being sure Chels was not filming THIS time was a hoot. And I lived for Kat's shade among the mess. I'm happy that we are here at this reveal with OriginalTed since the rumor (marking preemptions) we are a little under two weeks to go before he's out.   I liked the layers. One thing that I like about this show. We usually mention something here and then the show writers have it mentioned either in episode or immediately in the next. The SilkPress/Eva picture last week. Where is Naomi/Vanessa this week of episodes. And they got to it. Well-played. I also like the reveal that Martin knew SilkPress as a kid, calling back to that weird scene with the brownie. I mentioned the Bill-as-Lawyer scene, calling back to Bill/Vernon's first alone scene. The reveal of all of SilkPress's many names. The fact that Andre and Dani continue to grow closer and closer and had a near-miss...something this show knows how to do extremely well for me. Their near-misses built up the drama and story, and I see how much I'm invested when we have them. The whole Silk Press Sheila story being the best example.    I see from a few of the comments some of you all are already thinking about those consequences toward Bill that I was thinking about on Friday.

And while I did not like the Vanessa/Doug scenes at first view...though I love they followed up on her food poisoning phone call on Thursday...I liked it on second watch. Partly because it gave another hint that Doug has some idea of what Vanessa is doing...if not who.  Partly because I had assumed that Doug got poisoned, too. Seeing it was just Vanessa confused me since I thought they were out at dinner pre-party. That said...I go back to my original thought in that moment. Has Vanessa being having all this sex without protection and we are going to get a WTD with Doug, Diego, and whoever else she has been with? Uh oh?    And I continue to also love how flashbacks are used. Rare do they show a flashback to a prior episode unless it's important so those are well done. And then you have the flashbacks like the one with Bill/Dani that informs the audience. And I loved that green dress. But tbf, I loved the feistiness of her red dress. Andre was not alone in taking her in.    And someone mentioned it the other day and I wanted to echo it. One thing I like about this show that I don't see much in the other soaps to this degree has been that several of the characters have their own personal style for sure, but the men's style really have stood out for me since its started. Ted being a clear example with his turtlenecks and general...for lack of better word at the moment manly...to him. I like that about the men where other men styles on other soaps just blend together.    Looking forward to Kat v Eva, Anita vs Silk Press Sheila, and Nicole vs Ted today.    Did I mention I was happy Clifton was back?
