March 1, 201015 yr Member A walk-on, eh? That should be long enough for Paul Ryan to make her his new truelove. ;-)
March 1, 201015 yr Member It would be nice if she actually interacted with Bob and Kim. Moore lives in the West Village so there's no reason why getting her on set should be a problem. Not to sound harsh, but if they go with video, to me that speaks more to ATWT's incompetence. They could really make a lovely little scene out of this opportunity. I agree. If she's available I hope they actually make the effort to have a scene. Julianne's Frannie had a lovely relationship with Bob and Kim (made all the better because of all the drama surrounding Kim and Frannie) and while a taped message would be OK, her actually speaking to them would be wonderful. I also hope we might at least hear what Sabrina's doing, if she's not there.
March 1, 201015 yr Member I'd take Martha Byrne back as Lily up to the last week. They could replace Beck in the last two days. I would not care. It's just ridiculous, that recast. They should try for Meg Ryan too. Her career is dead, so if they could get Moore, why not? If she refuses get Frost. Edited March 1, 201015 yr by Vee
March 1, 201015 yr Member Well its been confirmed that she is returning. Sounds completely lame. They are calling it a "walk on".
March 1, 201015 yr Member "Walk on" essentially means it'll be one scene and that's that. And even then, Frannie will quickly move out of the way so the "real stars" of the show, Liberty and Janet, can hog up more airtime.
March 1, 201015 yr Member I know it's been confirmed, but figured I'd post this too More, More MOORE! Oscar-nominated actress Julianne Moore will be getting back to her roots in April, when she returns to AS THE WORLD TURNS. A spokesperson for the soap confirms that the 1988 Daytime Emmy winner will play Frannie Hughes in one episode. http://www.soapoperadigest.com/
March 2, 201015 yr Member Is she going to do like a video message (as in AMC's recent anniversary) or actually appear in a scene with the actors? I heard that she is going to greet her parents and wish them well.

I thought she was coming back for the finale.
March 2, 201015 yr Member I heard that too but you can do that in a video message. Hello Dad and Kim (I hope the writers remember that Kim is not actually her mother), I hope you are having a great day, and so on. I'm hoping it will be in person though. Since she probably isn't going to reprise Sabrina I hope we at least get a mention.

March 2, 201015 yr Member I wonder if Goutman even knows who Sabrina is?? Thanks to Moore playing both roles he probably does. Otherwise, I'd say no. I'd love to see Lindsay Frost again. She was a fine actress and I thought she was a good fit for that era of the Stewart family, as they were all very detached and somewhat emotionally cut off (Emily, Ellen, Susan). It's too bad that she isn't a name, as we are not likely to see her otherwise (and though I hope they ask Meg Ryan I can't see her returning). These were such iconic characters to ATWT along with several others. I know we should just be happy with whatever we get. Still, it kind of bothers me that there's a strong chance if not for Julianne Moore being gracious enough to return, we probably wouldn't even have heard Frannie or Sabrina mentioned. I guess they did mention them at Christmas, briefly.

She is NO Moore!!
March 2, 201015 yr Member If I thought it would make a difference I would write to ATWT about Betsy, Iva, Lyla, Jessica, etc. I almost wish that Julianne, Marisa Tomei, Jason Biggs, Lauryn Hill, Parker Posey, and Courtney Cox (reprising her day player role of course) would all return to ATWT, just so the press would ask why Meg Ryan wasn't there...
March 2, 201015 yr Member Did Betty Rea cast Julianne Moore? No, it was Vince Liebhart who was casting director at the time for ATWT. He casted her as Frannie and Sabrina.
