Members Llantano Incorporated
Well I was once a big B&B fan, I think the show has been horrible for 3 years at least. And now Brad has caught on to producing emmy bait episodes, but 90% of the year is garbage. I was intrigued by Sarah Brown though... Darn. It would have been nice for OLTL to beat AMC in the 18-49 (well it did in viewers, but not the rating)..
Members marceline
Climatic or climactic? I guess technically they both work.
Members skiman12082004
I am a big fan of B&B and I agree it has had some great performances the past few weeks. However, B&B needs to overhaul the majority of its stories. The potential is there for the show to be great but Brad Bell and Co. seem to keep missing the boat IMO. Members Llantano Incorporated
That is the DUMBEST press release ever. "When Villian Stacy Falls Through The Ice To Her Death." People get PAID to write such poor press releases?
Members Mr. Vixen
Wow, go OLTL tying AMC in the demos and beating B&B in the demos. Why is it we're more worried about that show than any other? Wish GH had a bigger week...But I'll settle.
Members beebs
Looks like Days royally screwed themselves over not airing on Monday. Look at the other soaps' ratings that day!
Members AS THE WORLD TURNS
OLTL has been beating B&B in the 18-49 demo a couple weeks now.

Members PhoenixRising05
It wasn't really their choice LOL. It was NBC's because of the Olympics. Days still got a GREAT daily number on Tuesday with the 2.4 so they did ok. I was expecting a major drop with the preemption and schedule shifting. Guest dc cubs
I was glad to see Days maintain their HH rating. They did have a drop in number of total viewers but things could have been worse with areas on the west coast having the show airing at different times due to the Olympics. Good for AMC and OLTL for maintaining their numbers as well. Decent week for most soaps.
Members Steve
I'm glad to see AMC hit a 2.4 for Monday! It's nice that the ratings never went below a 2.0 for the rest of the week, too.
Members beebs
LOL Fair enough. I'll blame NBC then Still sucks though. I remember seeing the HUGE gains they've received in Olympics past and was hoping that'd continue this time around but apparently not
Members Saving ATWT
I've always wondered how the number of viewers translates into household share. ATWT had more viewers than OLTL; however, OLTL has a 2.0 share while ATWT pulled a 1.8. I could see a 1.9 for World but the 1.8 seems oddly low. Troups, could you--or someone else, please explain this to me? World Turns had a great week, more viewers than this time last year, so how did it manage a 1.8 share? Looks to me that, as usualy, ATWT had a bad week.
