ITA. I see the chemistry to..I really liked when they were together at first. But then Pratt just had to have David drug her and all of that stuff...it turned awry. I wouldn't want to see them back together again. But they were a great pair at first! They will always have that bond over Babe. Forget Marissa.

HAHA I actually like Krystal looking trrashy again--it suits her  I liked some fo the David/Krystal pair up actually cuz I thought Pratt wrote the abuse angle better than I expected--I really got why Krystal was kinda trapped, David wasn't fully aware of how manipulative he was being, etc--but then the Martins came in to try to rescue her, bla bla etc.

I thought today's episode was terrific. R Sinclair, I'm gonna disagree with you, to your shock. I thought the fallout was largely done wonderfully--I don't think a few months back we would have gotten such a clear view of how EVERYONE reacted to the wedding--it would have just shown Greenlee and Ryan and David--even tiny scenes like David toasting himself with mixed emotions. I even *kinda* understood where Ryan was coming from today (I had forgotten he faked his own death way back... I can't even remember how he tried to justify that).

But yeah, I thought it was terrific stuff. :D Best AMC episode in... ages.

Opal!

Keep up with the screen caps, Cheap. They're a lot fun and it's awesome how you get them up so quickly. You take live posting to a new level with the screen caps. :)

Good episode.... Budig just completely and totally shined.

Ryan was less annoying. ohmy.gif

Annie was hilarious--"WHAAAAAAAAAT?"

And, damn, they even gave us a good cliffhanger. Can't wait until Greenlee bounces on Ryan's ass.

And, OMG, Marissa looked like an android. Maybe someone can get screencaps of when she was talking to Greenlee or when she and J.R. first came back to his apartment. She looked huge and clunky--and that hairdo maked her look like a giant-headed alien. blink.gif That was scary. laugh.gif

I know right! That's what I was alluding to yesterday, if you didn't know the show and you randomly flipped to that scene with J.R. and Marissa. They shot it with Marissa in the foreground so it looked like she was a good three feet taller than the little bald man she was talking to.

YES!!!! The same with Greenlee. She looked HUGE and J.R./Greenlee looked tiny. I guess it was some shooting gaffe because I don't recall her ever looking like this.

I'm thinking they're experimenting with new shooting styles now that they're in their HD L.A. digs. It reminded me of the old school soap opera rack focus. It was odd and surreal and strangely almost 3D... weird.

I enjoyed their individual scenes with other characters before they all came together at the Pub to commiserate over their relationships with Sami. I thought that was broken down pretty well. I just wish it had gone on a little longer. And I actually found it kinda funny too lol it seemed more mature than what we're used to. That's the kind of humor that should be on a soap. But I'm not really sure about all this talk of Dante Vitali and Sami's engagement though, especially since it doesn't look like Ali Sweeney is coming back anytime soon. What's the point of it all if we're (probably) not going to see it? It also looked like today was the first round of Brady vs. Xander as well lol I enjoyed their fight, and I'm interested in seeing this storyline play out. Even though I'm sure that Sarah will ultimately go back to Xander in the end, I'd like to see what happens along the way, and how they and everyone around them are affected by this. Btw, Theo and Jada? Idk. I still think he had the most chemistry with Arianna. And he was a bit of a dick too. It also seemed a little out of character for Jada for her to be so OK with him being such a dick  And though Alex and Stephanie were very boring again and need much better conflict than this book stuff, I am interested in the mystery of who's targeting Alex.  And yeah, I know this is a nitpick, but why is the Square still open after the gala? Isn't it supposed to be really late at night?
    • In fairness, Hillary and Bob Woods were thick as thieves again at least by the end of OLTL. But both she and I believe Mark Derwin not so subtly dissed Kale Browne in the oral history, lol.

    • Frat Boy Jr.'s reaction to seeing Luna was just awful acting. It was so bad that I started laughing.

Does anyone have screenshots of it?
    • Geez, I hadn't heard that Doctors story. HBS really did go through it.
    • No offense to the actors involved, but dear God in heaven: I don't know HOW viewers managed to get through that storyline with Maggie, Frank, Cal and baby Jill without running into oncoming traffic.  Then, to make matters worse, they dragged poor Diana into the mess!  I don't care WHO gets that damn baby!  Just wrap it up and move ON already!
    • Poor HBS.  To have to put up with Stephen Burleigh, who stuck his knee between her legs while rehearsing a love scene on THE DOCTORS, then told the director that's what he did with his wife; Kincaid, who had more hair on his chest and upper lip than Koko the Gorilla; Kale Browne, who taped his lines all over the OLTL studio floor, because he couldn't ever be bothered to [!@#$%^&*] memorize them; and Robert S. Woods, who apparently thought it was still 1979 and that he was still smolderingly sexy, so why should Bo Buchanan be stuck being in a happy marriage with Nora?  After all that, no wonder she jumped at the chance to play a lesbian on VENICE, lol.
    • @Maxim Thank you for the mini-review and clip from several pages ago. I appreciate you using the Bo/Alex clip as them meeting again by this point was a real surprise to me. The scene has some layers, getting a glimpse of Alex genuinely wanting the best for Bo rather than gloating. I was disappointed it ended with Tina dragging her out of the room for some much less interesting sparring (I did enjoy Alex pointing out just how quickly Tina got over Cord).
