Mark wanted Adam to develop a relationship with one of his victims (for Ashley, and later Sharon), a few months later, he got it.

Mark wanted Mac to be carrying twins and one turn out to be Billy's kid, while the jury is still out, she's still carrying twins.

Mark wanted Mary Jane to be Patty, months later, he got that.

And there's numerous other absurd stuff people talked about that later showed up on the show. We're well aware that hack writers from that writing read troll the boards and read them.

Sure, keep telling yourself that, when this show isn't written as far advance as these absurd speculations that end up showing up on the show...

And don't give me this ethical crap when they likely cannot prove that they stole things off message boards in court that we knew they stole.

Well, the chronology is a bit off. I don't think I wanted one of Mac's twins to be Billy's UNTIL the twins were announced. It's not like I predicted/wanted twins. And the Mary Jane = Patty belonged to Cashton (or maybe Cara Mia).

Given the episodes he writes, hack would be a fitting name, IMO.

But good speculation has been given out, but they never go for it. They always go right for the absurd and plot above character integrity speculation. That's their writing style and that's the ideas they're attracted to. We can't change that.

Definitely: I'll cop to the baby switch and to the Adam-and-Ashley romance. One happened (but I truly believe I was simply reacting to what I saw on screen...what many of us, to be honest, saw was coming), and the other didn't. (Sharon never crossed my mind at the time, because she was not on Adam's radar).

I just think some of us -- me included -- have become VERY adapt at seeing the cliche setups LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG before they occur. I think I may differ from some of you in that I like some of those cliches . Trust me, if I had original, useful ideas, I wouldn't just be speculating with fellow fans on a message board.

But it's okay to believe that anything I say influences the show--I don't mind getting an aggrandized sense of power when the reality is the opposite.

As was mentioned elsewhere, you have the direction of causation wrong. I'm just a marionnette sending out advance-flags of storylines to come (that have been fed to me by the hacks).

Mark, I do think you're right that it's not hard to tell where these stories go. The writers are nowhere near as clever as they think they are. How long did it take people to figure out Tucker was Katherine's son? Five minutes?

Yes, a lot of these stories are predictable and their direction is predictable. But some of these stories were advocated for months in advance before there was a hint of them to come on the show.

I'm still baffled that Colleen's death and how she died was spoiled on here months in advance. So was Zapato's death. I wonder if that has changed some direction since then, like the rumor of Ryder raping Eden, and of Sheila as the mother, etc.

It's actually Alvin who brought us the Zapato and Colleen spoilers. I'm guessing he brought them over from DR/Kennylicious, but I'm not so sure about that.

People were wary, but moila did reveal the Neil/Ashley & Paul/Nina pairings and other stuff but I forget what. I remmember when the Colleen story leaked (curiously quickly followed by two more spumors to throw us off) and nobody believed it because it was too ridiculous. Look how wrong we were.
