Thanks, Khan. I can't picture that guy as Tom.

I wish Vasili Bogazianos got more soap work. He was very good on Y&R ten years ago, in a very difficult role.

12 Julie (?)

Nope, too soon.

13 Mrs. Valentine (?)

14 Ellen or Devon (both had matching haircuts at one point)

19 Melanie, not Donna; Donna's between Cliff and Benny

21 Al Waxman (LOL!)

22 Portia Nelson's character (Mrs. Gurney?)

27 Devon (?)

31 Cecily

Too soon. Could be Nancy, though.

37 Donna

38 Benny

39 Sam Brady

47 Dottie

Nah. Tasia Valenza came later. But, #46 could be Tad.

Thanks Khan, yeah, I realized that Barbara Mandrell-looking woman wasn't Donna but Donna was down by Cliff. I'll make the rest of your corrections. Duh, if the Jesse/Jenny high school crew is still here, I don't know how i was already skipping to Cecily, Julie, and the like. What is this, '83/'84?

Oh, it is 1982?

IMDB has Silver Kane/Connie Wilkes on the show in 1982, and also Carla Dragoni as Betsy Kennicott. Are they in there anywhere? Carlo Dragoni played Betsy, Deborah Goodrich played Silver/Connie.

I think #13 is definitely Ellen.

Andrea Moar played Carrie Sanders Tyler (Chuck's wife I guess) from 1980-1983. Is she in there anywhere?

Were the Kingsley mother and daughter off the show by this time?

Was Liza's father still on the show at this time? Of course I don't see Marian there either.

Also note that during Babbin's early years, AMC backstage was plagued with a huge coke problem. A lot of the young actors were using and evidently it began to affect their performances. I was only about 13/14 at the time, so I was oblivious to the fact that the drug problem behind the scenes was manifesting itself onscreen. Supposedly on the remote shoot aboard a yacht for Tony and Jenny's engagement party, one young actress (I'm thinking Delaney) got so high that she fell overboard and was knocked unconscious.

You know, I always perceived that it was Tasia Valenza (ex-Dottie) in that incident. But I may be thinking that because she's been so open about how her dealing with cocaine addiction and bullimia during that time, according to her, really sent her life crashing down.

But for all we know, it could have been Bonkers The Cat.

2 is Fred Porcelli who played Freddie, the head waiter at the Chateau. As for 21 (Al Waxman LOL), I don't remember the actor's name, but he played Huey, who ran that sleezy bar Foxy's in Center City. The girl on the floor to the far right is Kathy Kamhi, who played Pamela Kingsley.

Pamela Kingley! When I first started watching AMC regularly, the Kingleys were on and the daughter was so drippy and needy. I think Mark was giving her piano lessons and she got a crush on him. I liked the mother most of all for some reason. Brandon was just too stuffy with TV anchorman hair.

Sara Kingsley was played by the late, great Tudi Wiggins(luv that name)best known as Meg on Love of Life.

Didn't Pamela return briefly during a later writer's strike?

Yeah, she returned played by actress Kathleen Rowe McAllen (sp?) in 88 and tried to steal Travis away from Erica. I remember Michael Minor making a couple of cameo appearances during that time as her dad Brandon. She didn't last very long.

Why would they bring her back, of all characters? Was that just an odd writer filling in at the time? Wasn't that when they killed Jesse, which Agnes said she did not want to happen?
