Two wrongs don't make a right though, it just makes more than one person wrong. In fact, Josh Marrow is guilty as well because he's made it more than clear that he is all about Stafford too. In fact, if my issue were statements made to the press I think Morrow is the worst offender in this trio. But at the same time Morrow and Bergman are much more convincing on screen than Case and that's what matters to me. Their reluctance has not shown on screen and that's my biggest gripe with all these actors and their various preferences.

I blame whoever allows it to happen. No one should be allowed to "Burton" out.

I hear old episodes are airing on Thursday and Friday.

Thursday's episode is from 2005, it's Michael and Lauren's wedding. You know, back when Y&R had a better and consistent writing team.

Friday's episode is last year's pretentious and hammy "It's A Wonderful Life" episode, which centered on Michael.

Heh, sad, but very true.

As I said in the other thread:

Does anyone on the Y&R writing team care about putting out a quality product? Do these people even care about the character and day to day writing? This show is a bloody, non-entertaining mess.

This show needs a writing regime change, at least point, I do not think this current writing team has any potential to get better. The show has gotten progressively worse with them in charge. These people obviously don't understand the core, tone, and characters on this show and it reflects very badly on the storylines they produce.

Y&R is going to its grave with this toxic vision, watch...

I think they are addicted to going for the "shock". Won't it be shocking when Sharon finds out she shagged the guy who stole her baby!? Won't it be shocking when Ashley finds out her baby's godfather and the man she trusts more than her own brother was trying to drive her nuts! It doesn't matter if these stories are over the top and outlandish as long as shock ensues.

Yeah, is this supposed to be a LAME indication that Sheila is on her way back? (not a spoiler, just a guess). Yeah, because this show needs another one-note psycho, since we haven't seen too many this year alone. <_<

But I wouldn't be surprised if it implies these hack writers are killing Lauren off soon. I put nothing bad past this writing regime.

Who else has a vendetta against Lauren though? With the re-airing of that wedding episode happening this week, which Sheila was apart of, it seems like all signs are pointing to a Sheila return.

Are Maria and her hacks trying to "undo" yet another Latham mistake? She should know by now she makes Latham's mistakes worse than "correcting" them.

I'd prefer to see Sheila on B&B than on Y&R...

    • Oh wow. After reading your post, I realized that they had "Carl Ivati" in the script AGAIN yesterday June 6.    Eva said she was reading his latest, and Tomas said "Work's been so busy, I haven't had time to get into his new series". Then Eva proceeds to tell him that "the first book is called 'Mercy and Goodness' and it's all about how the couple first met and how they got separated".   She goes on and on about how great it is. And she says she has the book in her hotel room if he wants to borrow it. She says it has twists and turns. And meanwhile Kat is snooping in Eva's room to look for the helmet and gloves, and finds the book and dismisses it as "basic". I saw that whole scene -- but I wasn't paying attention to the name of the author.  And when Tomas said the name, I heard it in his accent so I didn't hear "carlivati".  II was mainly trying to see if the acting had improved with the actor playing Tomas, and I think he has improved somewhat.   I only see it when typed out. So they had several scenes yesterday about a "Carl Ivati" book?  Barf! Well at least Kat had the good sense to dismiss it as "basic". Ron Carlivati wrote the breakdown yesterday!   Featuring himself in it! Addressing to the collective "you" whoever you may be: Some of you, months ago, said Oh Ron is only doing breakdowns.  The story comes from MVJ, so he won't influence things, you said. May 27 started it, with Christopher Dunn breakdown and Lynn Martin script. But they didn't need to continue it June 6 with Carlivati breakdown and Jazmen Darnell Brown script.
    • I was completely lost. But it is wonderful that it exists. I didn't really know Robert Mandan had done soaps...well, besides SOAP.
    • Jack and Jennifer are tired. I just don't care about them when they return. They add nothing to the show.
    • Did they really bring back Jack and Jennifer for Jack to prop up Leo and Jenn to serve as an obstacle to Chad/Cat? Are we sure Ron still isn't in the building?
    • We can only hope that they finally kill off Leo too
    • We can only hope that maybe the new writers might read this.
    • You can get so many storylines from a Will/Sonny/Paul/Andrew/Dimitri mess And I'm sure Colton would do a great job

    • Sounds interesting. Too bad we never got that story.
    • Not to go too off topic but if you ever want to see more of his Search run just look for SFT Summer of 1966 on Youtube.
