Don't forget that Fletcher was a bad father as well, look how he basically abandoned Ben and how he turned out.

I don't really put that on Fletcher. Until the show decided to say that being sexually abused makes you a serial killer, the worst to say about Ben was being a cad.

Ohhh, that must mean Billy finally goes to see Vanessa... and that would be great, I'd look forward to that (and expect it). :)

There's also some Ross/Vanessa, IIRC.

My other victim would have been Buzz, but could you imagine the long..long..death scene they would give Deas...sputtering, spitting, arms a flailing about! And yes, they would have Fletcher come back as ghost, dressed in white with that dumb ass hat, to tell Holly he will always watch over her...YUCCCCK!

If wishes were fishes....there's just a point that Buzz was way beyond played out.

Yeah, not blaming Fletch for some dumb writers decision.

Thanks again @alwaysAMC

I had some memories of the Jim and Cassie test, but I did NOT remember that they met in a strip club. I wonder how his wife felt about that...

I hope you weren't spoiled about Holly's current story, one of the most insane ever on GL, but grounded by the one and only Maureen Garrett.

So turns out, he went to the strip club after his wife died, unsure of what he was looking for... but they bonded that night over being single parents and doing whatever possible to take care of them. Seemed like a big stretch haha.

So I've known all along that Holly was the Nursery Rhyme Stalker and I knew she eventually kidnaps the kids (because of that promo long ago of her with the kids and a flute I think, although I haven't seen a flute yet).... but I don't know what she ends up doing with them nor how she'll ever be redeemed, so that's good and what I look forward to seeing. I still choose to believe this is all Fletcher's fault :P

I wonder which man wrote that. The only thing missing is them having sex but her giving him his money back.

The timelines are confusing to me as that would mean Mrs. Lemay had been dead over a year and a half before Susan arrived in Springfield. For some reason I thought she'd died later than that.

They surprisingly got it right - when Jim and Susan came on, they mentioned her mom passed a little over a year ago or so... so I guess it fits. That's why she's having trouble not having a mother figure as she's becoming a teen and he's having trouble being a single dad.

And that, I put on Ben's biological father, Kyle Sampson. Even though he didn't raise Ben, it was definitely in Ben's genes, lol.

I'm in the beginnings of the Spaulding takeover plot. Ross just let Leo know he was hired by Spaulding and got him on edge. I always enjoy Leo-I wish they'd let him be more than Roger's fixer and be more of a sleazy, lurking presence for when someone needs something shady or is desperate. The Leo/Ross dynamic is fun.

Ann Hamilton as Mindy in scenes with Dylan is really painful. Nadine just hosted a get together for Mindy returning, and Mindy/Dylan/Frank is a whole lot of bland. I thought Dylan had a good chemistry with Krista Simms' Mindy and Melissa Hayden elevates Morgan Englund, but these Mindy scenes are rough.

I'm a bit amused right now that Eve is living at the boarding house, and somehow she has the absolute worst room there. The decor is all stark white, and like half the size of the Harley/Lucy room that has a lot of character and the huge terrace thing.

Blake and Roger reconcile when she finds him at Maureen's grave (his gravesite speech moved me much more than Ed's that came right after) then immediately realize they're on opposite sides of the Spaulding takeover. There's some irony that Blake went after Ross to hurt Holly, but ultimately it ends up being what distances Blake from Roger.

Robert Lupone was a delight as Leo. I always looked forward to seeing him. GL lost something when those recurrers were phased out.

Roger visiting Maureen's grave was one of MZ's most memorable scenes from his 1989-1997 run. I thought that scene should have been on his Emmy reel.
