I know you like MS. But I see what's going on with my own eyes with CK. I don't know what happen with MS & VR. But they took CKlily away from her black family time & put her with her husband. & we still don't see Devon or Niel coming by. Just her & Cane & any white cast person who visit CKLily character.

I think that she is definitely needs the money. Y&R was her main steady income and it is gone. She was never an in demand actress demanding lots of money. Book royalties do not bring much money in unless the author sells hundreds of thousands copies like Barack Obama or Stephen King. VR told a friend of a friend at one of her book signing that she was going to back on Y&R soon around last year October so she has been trying to get back on Y&R for a very long time.

I hope that she bullies her crazy way back on to Y&R. I love me some Dru.

and that is CK's fault??? Is CK dicatating to MAB the direction that Lily is going in, and who she will and will not interact with???

My liking MS has nothing to do with it, posters on all the boards are assuming that the two mentioned by VR in her backhand tweet are PB and MS, sorry but I would not believe anything that comes out the loud mouth, overbearing, publicity seeking ( I have a new book coming out SOON!!!) diva's mouth, if she said the sun was shining I would have to go see for myself.

Like I said if they wanted her back, she would have been back long before now, if she was such a HOT commodity (not a racist slander - I know she is not "for sale", just a figure of speech) then she would be acting on prime time or on another soap.

Again off-topic, I'm glad someone mentioned Yvonna Kopacz on GL. When I saw her character, Mel, with hottie Cyrus today, all I could think of was they would never have dared give Cyrus to Mel, chemistry or no chemistry, if this piece of [!@#$%^&*] was not going off the air. GL's black representation has been a disgrace for many years.

Okay, topic. I do think VR is difficult and probably a little desperate, not that she needs the money, but like Robin Strasser, I think she feels very connected to her show and wants back on it. I don't think she's totally in the right with this drama, but most of what she says is very valid and the bottom line is all the actors in question, including Rowell, have to learn to work together again, because there's a gaping chest wound in the center of the show without her. That [!@#$%^&*] today was embarrassing.

who is to say that there are ANY actors blocking her coming back??? do you really think that Bell Productions, SONY TELEVISION and CBS are going to be told what to do by ACTORS?!?!?!?!?

again, from talk on the set when she left, there was one hellava good party where her leaving was celebrated by EVERYONE!!!!

Dru has been a central character (definitely one of my favorites) on Y&R for so many years I don't think anyone is arguing that she isn't needed. The question is, do they need her enough to put up with VR's antics. Perhaps VR is wholly justified in her complaints, but it doesn't change the fact that her behavior makes it appear that SHE is the one who causes the trouble. Like many people, I love that she's so outspoken, but in the long run I don't think she helps herself. If anybody thinks she's going to force tptb at Y&R to bow to her will, they're naive.

    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
    • Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol  Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well.
    • It’s not about a lack of faith and trust in MVJ, it’s about a a lack of faith and trust in Ron Carlivati, who I think can be very sneaky and manipulative when he wants to be.  And, all that “He’s just a breakdown writer” talk never changed my mind about anything, because at Days, it was “just a breakdown writer” that gave us some of the worst episodes I’ve ever seen.
