I was thinking the same thing as I watched the previews just a minute ago. Luke and Noah have no business there. Why they are is another what the f u c k moment.

Yup

I agree

I have a feeling Adam is still alive but we will be getting another awful recast.

Yeah...I'm not taking Adam's "death" to the bank either.

Maybe just Nuke showing up will buoy Margo's spirits to remember some good from her son's life. After all, Nuke wouldn't be there if Adam didn't deserve them to be. I guess his grandmothers, grandfather, aunt, uncle, half-brother and assorted former stepmothers are all chopped liver.

Yeah, if Riley isn't Adam, it'd be the first time Pissy hasn't telegraphed a story from minute one.

:lol::lol: Yes...obviously Noah's life has been so extraordinary, it needs to be documented for all of prosperity.

You poor ATWT fans. I feel for ya! This is the exact same road GL went down.

Out of nowhere, a Hughes son gets killed and memorialized without Bob and Kim but Luke and Noah are there?

September 2010. The end of ATWT.

The part about the mother being a madam who was murdered by the high ranking military man, arch-conservative, psychotic father might get some interest. I just wish they had kept Robin Mattson around.

True, but that's not even the angle they were trying to push. It was the whole "You grew up on military bases and spent your entire childhood on them" thing. That could be interesting, I guess, but hot damn, Noah, you're only 20 years old. There is no need for you to film a documentary about your life. Sheesh. Not now, at least.

But then again, his boyfriend is also only about 20 years old or so and has an entire foundation named in his honor, so whatever.

I will take a break from my staunch Nuke opposition to say that I would do millions of sexual things to Jake Silbermann if given the chance. Boy is FINE. Too bad his character and storylines have sucked almost consistently for over a year and a half now.

I know people like that warble-y, angsty soul-searching crap...but Cady should keep her day job.

Rosanna's right---the universe is trying to tell Paul something--he's the most inept kidnapper ever. Somewhere James is rolling over in his grave.

Anyone else feel like bitchslapping that plastic smile off Katie's face?? Oh, Vienna, Brad and I are so affected by your loss. Oh, I don't know why I get my baby, and V lost her's. *eyeroll* V lost her baby because you were a selfish bitch, Katie. STFU.

It was nice seeing Kim. Even in that story. Her hug seemed more sincere than any of Katie's self-serving for-the-cameras BS.

Can't Bonnie afford a nice weave? And I guess all those saturated fats in Wisconsin oozed right out of Dusty's head. I wish someone would make GM get that mop cut.

Vienna's devotion to Katie is becoming a little obsessive. Although a Vienna/Katie pairing would give NUKE a run for their money.

Bob and Kim's grandson is "dead"so TIIC have Kim pimping Katie. Nice touch.

That wig was so heavy it's no wonder Bonnie is sick. An illness (btw) that looks designed to bring her and Dusty DoRight together.

I think that's what pisses me off the most. Unless I missed it, and I could have since very little Katie stays with me, neither Kim or Katie even brought up the fact that Adam "died". Not even a vague "it's nice to have work to distract me" kind of acknowledgement. It's the little things that make or break a story---and it just annoys me to no end that instead of taking ten seconds to make Katie seems like a genuine person who occassionally manages to have feelings about something other than her immediate needs and desires, TIIC treat us like idiots and aren't even trying to connect stories in a broader and meaningful way.

Why can't TIIC take one event, and use it to propel stories in different directions? (And I so don't mean Noah's documentary on his life as an Army brat.) That admission of Casey's would have been more effective (IMO) if he'd been talking to Will (off-screen) instead of Ali, who barely had a clue about what he was talking about. And why the heck not use this opportunity to get Parker back on track and stop his obsessive clinging to Liberty? The people affected wouldn't even have to be on the same day---but their actions could still be motivated by the news. Almost every freakin' person in town had some kind of history with Adam.

 Makes me want to watch with all your enthusiasm. I am 3 days behind. I am barely on Wednesday show. I have been so busy I haven't had anytime to watch.

    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
    • Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol  Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well.
    • It’s not about a lack of faith and trust in MVJ, it’s about a a lack of faith and trust in Ron Carlivati, who I think can be very sneaky and manipulative when he wants to be.  And, all that “He’s just a breakdown writer” talk never changed my mind about anything, because at Days, it was “just a breakdown writer” that gave us some of the worst episodes I’ve ever seen.

    • I think they’re desperately trying to cover his awful tattoos. But anyway them being unable to style short kings properly has been a major pet peeve of mine for a while now.  I honestly don’t understand what some people expect from actors to even begin considering them for recognition. Let’s be real—awards mostly mean that an actor is respected by their peers and has some level of cultural relevance. Actual judgment on the acting itself? That’s often secondary—highly subjective and shaped by the times. I completely agree on both points. If you’re an actor or a dancer you shouldn’t get any tattoos (sorry not sorry). Tomas’ tattoos are ugly too. And regarding the couples- you’re completely right. These writers are unable to write romance.   Further comments: - Kat cannot be this dumb to keep tampering with evidence over and over again. And I’m officially not a fan of the actress—every time she’s in a scene with Leslie, she doesn’t seem intimidated at all. She plays it like comic relief, which is just too much, especially when paired with Leslie’s histrionics and over-the-top antics. Leslie is older, dangerous, and has literally been portrayed as homicidal—Kat should be at least a little scared. • I also didn’t like Kat playing damsel in distress with the hotel manager. It gave off the same weird energy as Dani with the cop. I would’ve much preferred the version Paul Raven suggested, with her sneaking in through housekeeping. • And yes, Dani again accused Hayley of faking the pregnancy—this time even specifying she might be using a pillow under her shirt. (No fake miscarriage being mentioned) I stand by my take: this is ridiculous writing. No one in the real world—except us, the chronically online soap watchers—would even think of such a conspiracy theory. Haley is no Beyoncé. • What in the world was Chelsea wearing in her hair the other day? And this whole thing with Madison is beyond cringe. Chelsea’s coming off as needy and toxic—basically like every other Dupree. • I’m glad the casino storyline is moving forward, but it’s still boring as hell. Honestly, I’d be so here for a plot twist where Vanessa and Doug take Joey out. • The direction and editing lately have been rough. Abrupt cuts, weird pacing… something just feels off overall. There’s a strange uneasiness to how it’s all coming together. • And finally: Tomas is too much of a saint. Where are the messy sluts when you need them? (Vanessa doesn’t count.)
