LOL, damning with faint praise.

Except for Susan Flannery, of course.

ETA: Ok, I read your post too fast and didn't see "male." Although, from the back, Stephanie has been mistaken for Eric...

See, that's the FACT. That's why I can't villify him. At least Brill is a convincing pig.

therefore, might make our heads explode if he's good. Or, like Heather Tom and even sometimes Susan Flannery, he might just get dragged down into mediocrity himself.

Marla is actually in the PERFECT age range, since she went to college with Eric, Stephanie, and Massimo.

But, they made her younger.

Her dementia is "healed" (it was multi-infarct, so I guess they got her on the right meds?).

Plus, when MTS takes over the role, she's good at playing a little loopy, slightly demented...

Honestly, I'm extremely angry.

So, the only way I can express it is to get MTS a better job, so Y&R is screwed. Casting MTS on B&B in that role...Y&R would be screwed. And the money boys at Sony...I loathe them.

Passive aggressive is my middle name :D

Plus I really think she could improve B&B. Flannery won't be around forever, and we need a new b!tch goddess. Can't you imagine MTS' Beth eventually rising to the role of Eric's fashion diva bride? Calling all the shots. I'm dying for it.

We feel exactly the same way :) MTS would be a great addition for B&B, but not as someone who went to school with Eric, Stephanie and Massimo. Not as Rick Forrester's grandmother. BTW didn't she and KKL share some scenes on Y&R during the cult storyline in 1982? Didn't KKL play a girl called Gretchen?

Her terminal cancer story was great, and her last-minute rescue was a cheat.

Like many, it was tolerable because it "saved" LK.

But then he never really played her again.

Therefore, I'd rather see them revisit the terminal illness tale and let Lesli play the hell out of it. Better for her to (memorably) be here for a good time, rather than a long time.
