Administrator Toups Posted May 15, 2009 Author Administrator Share Posted May 15, 2009 For sure! It's nice seeing another Degrassi:TNG alum make it over to the US. So that makes it 3 now? Aubrey Graham, Shenae Grimes and now Nina Dobrev.
Members JackPeyton
Yup. It sure is nice. I love it too because Darcy & Mia were faves of mine. I just pray Cassie Steele stays over there, lol.

Members JackPeyton
He is a rapper by the nam of Drake. He has a pretty hot track right now.. Unstopable. Cassie went to the Lindsey Korman/Erin hershey Presley/Alica Liegh Willis school of acting. All are awful bland and try wayy to hard and thing bugging your eyes out = talent.
Members All My Shadows
Ooooooh, I had forgot all about that lol He's all right, and I'm glad he's making a new career for himself. He was pretty upset about TPTB of Degrassi basically ditching most of the cast. As far as Cassie, I do have to admit that yeah, she got bad over seasons six and seven, but I thought she was great during three, four, and five. The worst actress on the show, IMO, was always Melissa McIntyre. Hideous character, boring actress. Just totally out of place.
Members Bright Eyes
Anyone watch the premiere? Good acting, amateur dialogue but it's made up for by all the pretty (/shallow moment) The show itself looks great, especially in HD! Though Kayla Ewell looks hard up. Is Kristian Alfonso giving her pointers? Oh and I am totally crushing on Stephen R. McQueen who plays Jeremy.

Members BadZoe
It was ok, no Buffy or True Blood but passes the time at work better than watching Y&R.
Administrator Toups Posted September 13, 2009 Author Administrator Share Posted September 13, 2009 I liked it. Nina Dobrev is gorgeous. Ian Somerhalder rocks as Damon - he was so enjoyable to watch. Such a contrast of his Lost character - Boone was so boring. Happy for the big ratings, so hopefully the show can maintain the good ratings. Question: How was Stefan able to walk around in the daylight? Same question goes for the Twilight vampires, and were the BTVS vampires "awake" during the day too? I guess there's a different mythologies when it comes to the sun - I thought that was a standard rule?
Members JackPeyton
better than twilight. not as good or deep as buffy. i liked it. the cast works, the story is good. ill def keep watching.
Members Bright Eyes
Toups, did you not see the show point out that ghastly ring The BTVS vampires could be awake in the daylight, but they never went out in the sun.
