I think I finally understand people who say they'll stick with Krystal no matter what due to JUST Bobbie Eakes. She's stellar!

that's exactly my thought. Bobbie proved again today why Krystal is still kicking. Those scenes WOWzer. Marissa A totally gets props--I didn't know what she would do when these scenes played out, but she rocked. And Krystal works for me even more when she has a daughter--and I don't count Babe 2.0. I think Marissa and Bobbie could have chemistry like Alexa and Bobbie did.

WHAT? I don't disagree with you often, but I wholeheartedly disagree with this. I thought Brittany Allen brought it today - she was amazing and totally kept up with Bobbie.

Cheap! I can't believe we're disagreeing this badly.

What do others think here?

She got a little better as the episode went on but I still was very underwhelmed by her performance. They really should consider recasting bc this girl does absolutely nothing for me. She's a complete bore with no screen presence. Considering she's playing the daughtetr of David and Krystal, not to mention Babe's twin, I expect more. She is very very bland

Ugh...so Im watching it right now on SOAPNET...and David is so full of crap it makes me see red...."Adam your so evil, blah blah blah, you have ruined/messed with my family fo the last time blah".

Umm...David, yeah he has done no different to you, then what you have done to um I don't know...JR, Krystal, Angie, Jake, AMANDA..to name a few. So do me a favor and STFU. God, what I wouldn't give for David to be the "legendary" character being killed off!!

Oh and Erica & Adam...I love them soo much  !! God, they are so amazing together!!

This was a great eppy! One of the best I've seen in a longtime. I was glad to see that Zach had sense to know that it wasn't all David's fault for the valve, there's some hope for these to yet!! Loved Erica, Adam and Nurse Galye.

I'm with you. I thought Brittany Allen held her own against Bobbie and was fantastic!

I also agree with everyone who said this was the best episode in a long time. If only Pratt & company could maintain this level of emotional intensity when it's not a sweeps month!

I loved Bobbie Eakes in this episode. I enjoy KWAK now that she's being written true to form -- an insecure woman who makes huge mistakes, rather than a moral compass judging everyone in town. I've always believed that Eakes was worthy of being a cast member of my favorite show -- I just hated her character (unlike some, I'm able to distinguish actor from character).

The heart valve story is the epitome of an Umbrella Story. I think Pratt has shown that he does these well. In my opinion, he's shown the ability to play around with numerous characters when it comes to umbrella stories. I enjoy how all the characters involved are invested. Lucci did a great job in this episode as well... my only complaint is that Erica's not allowed to say "grandson" so it makes it seem like Erica's just turning against Adam because of some random child. The emotion of that scene would've been driven home if she said "MY GRANDSON" rather than "Ian" or "Little Ian" or "Young Ian." We get the fact that Ian's a child, but WHY is Erica so caught up in this? Quit it with the vanity/in house joke of "let's see how may different ways we can have Erica NOT say Miranda, Spike and Ian are her grandchildren." Because we sure enough get way too many "My daughter Kendall's" in an episode.

Nicely put, and I agree on all counts. For a second yesterday I actually thought Erica was going to say MY GRANDSON and it would have totally sold the scene. I was disappointed the inside joke or whatever continued.
