Branco does it again and I quote " TVG: No one talks to my Adrienne like that and gets away with it. You have balls! Balls I’d like to worship! "

Read it here! Pleeeease discuss!

Here's more tidbits:

TVG: You told me at the Primetime Emmys that you dated Graz at one point.

AF: Yeah, we did years ago. I think that’s why we’re best friends now. We never really clicked romantically. We were meant to be best friends. He’s like my brother. [Laughs] Maybe that sounds a little weird! No, it’s a great friendship because he gives me the best advice, especially when it comes to relationships since we dated and he knows what I’m like! It’s great to have an ex that you can confide in, you know? He always knows what I’m going to do in a relationship before I do. We’ve been close friends for years.

TVG: I’m so happy you’re on my favourite soap, Y&R. I think your character is the future of Genoa City.

AF: Listen, after Sunset Beach, I’m happy to have been working on the top two-rated soaps in the medium. I’ll give you a scoop: I hated being on Sunset Beach. They were so mean to me. Truthfully, I was nice and professional, but they made me feel like this acting business was unhealthy and mean-spirited. Luckily, I left the show, and two weeks later I booked B&B. I love Brad Bell for hiring me. You know, it was hard to play Randy Spelling’s love interest when his father, Aaron, was the boss. It was really weird. Aaron’s eyes were always on me whenever I was in a love scene with Randy. He even made me chop off all my hair despite the fact that I refused to initially. I loved my long hair. I even cried when they made me chop it all off. And then Aaron actually yelled at me for crying over the incident. My gripe was that there was no story reason behind it. You don’t do that to a kid.

The biggest WTF? though was this:

TVG: Would you like Andrea Evans to reprise her B&B role as Amber’s mother, Tawny? I’d love to see Tawny and Katherine do battle over Amber.

AF: It’s funny, because I was talking to our executive producer, Paul Rauch, the other day and out of the blue he mentioned Andrea Evans. I told him, “You do know she played Amber’s mother on B&B, right?” But he didn’t know! He said, “That’s really good to know; that’s great.” So you never know. I think it’d be amazing, but I think the only way Tawny could visit Genoa City is if Amber’s in a really good place so her mom will want to either screw it up or cash in on her daughter’s success.

Can you keep that avatar forever please? LOL!

i didn't even know she was on Sunset Beach before this interview. And I can not believe PR did not know AE played Amber's mom on B&B. This leads me to think MAB has never discussed it with him either. Did AE get along with people at B&B/Bell Dramatic?

Classic. Possibly 2nd to "Australian racism." ROTFLMAO!

I loved B&B Amber so I am glad that Adrienne got that gig.

Co-creator and headwriter was none other than Bob Guza. Bet you are not surprised.

Nelson claiming that Amber is the future of Y&R-God forbid.

A little of Amber,and I mean a little,goes a loooong way.

Quite often you read of execs not knowing about the past of the shows they work on.

It's sad when fans know more than the people involved.

Adrienne saying that Rauch was interested in the Andrea Evans tidbit, doesn't amount to much-if he couldn't be bothered finding out in the first place.

Ok... no. NO. You cannot post an interview like this where Adrienne Frantz is being all adorable and [!@#$%^&*] because it makes me like Amber! And I don't want to. I want to tolerate her because she's with the Graz. Plus hating B&B's Amber has been a constant in my life for @ 10 years.

I still think that without the Daniel pairing, Amber would have been a non-starter on Y&R. Lynn Marie Troll wrote her horribly. The Hooker Diaries with that meth ATWT chick? Internet porn? The mole over her left boob that Lily recognized? Plum? The money scam? Shudder shudder SHUDDER.

Re: Aaron Spelling. I'm sad to hear this -- I always heard that he was tough but professional, never deliberately cruel. Unfortunately, AF was too young and the character of Tiffany too underwritten to become the David Silver to Randy's Donna Martin.

And at least Tori had more than one facial expression in her acting box of tricks ("hounddog" and "drunken hounddog"). Randy had only one: shouty.

    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
    • Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol  Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well.
    • It’s not about a lack of faith and trust in MVJ, it’s about a a lack of faith and trust in Ron Carlivati, who I think can be very sneaky and manipulative when he wants to be.  And, all that “He’s just a breakdown writer” talk never changed my mind about anything, because at Days, it was “just a breakdown writer” that gave us some of the worst episodes I’ve ever seen.

    • I think they’re desperately trying to cover his awful tattoos. But anyway them being unable to style short kings properly has been a major pet peeve of mine for a while now.  I honestly don’t understand what some people expect from actors to even begin considering them for recognition. Let’s be real—awards mostly mean that an actor is respected by their peers and has some level of cultural relevance. Actual judgment on the acting itself? That’s often secondary—highly subjective and shaped by the times. I completely agree on both points. If you’re an actor or a dancer you shouldn’t get any tattoos (sorry not sorry). Tomas’ tattoos are ugly too. And regarding the couples- you’re completely right. These writers are unable to write romance.   Further comments: - Kat cannot be this dumb to keep tampering with evidence over and over again. And I’m officially not a fan of the actress—every time she’s in a scene with Leslie, she doesn’t seem intimidated at all. She plays it like comic relief, which is just too much, especially when paired with Leslie’s histrionics and over-the-top antics. Leslie is older, dangerous, and has literally been portrayed as homicidal—Kat should be at least a little scared. • I also didn’t like Kat playing damsel in distress with the hotel manager. It gave off the same weird energy as Dani with the cop. I would’ve much preferred the version Paul Raven suggested, with her sneaking in through housekeeping. • And yes, Dani again accused Hayley of faking the pregnancy—this time even specifying she might be using a pillow under her shirt. (No fake miscarriage being mentioned) I stand by my take: this is ridiculous writing. No one in the real world—except us, the chronically online soap watchers—would even think of such a conspiracy theory. Haley is no Beyoncé. • What in the world was Chelsea wearing in her hair the other day? And this whole thing with Madison is beyond cringe. Chelsea’s coming off as needy and toxic—basically like every other Dupree. • I’m glad the casino storyline is moving forward, but it’s still boring as hell. Honestly, I’d be so here for a plot twist where Vanessa and Doug take Joey out. • The direction and editing lately have been rough. Abrupt cuts, weird pacing… something just feels off overall. There’s a strange uneasiness to how it’s all coming together. • And finally: Tomas is too much of a saint. Where are the messy sluts when you need them? (Vanessa doesn’t count.)
