Members DRW50
The date on this is wrong (it's from June 1 1989), but this has some of my favorite Cass/Kathleen scenes, from when she was still "dead" and he hallucinated seeing her after he learned Nicole killed Jason and let Felicia stay in prison. Frankie and Cass for me just never had this chemistry, no matter how much the show forced it. Members teplin
I was watching sporadically at this point, but a quick run-through of the above videos reveals a host of characters I don't remember at all -- John's girlfriend Chris? Kevin and his family? Detective Rick? Were these characters introduced by Harding Lemay in his short return stint? I look forward to watching them all!
victoria foxton
I might be wrong but i think all these characters were created during the writer's strike.
Members teplin
That would make sense -- introduced and quickly dropped!
Members DRW50
You're right. I do wonder about Chris as it seemed like her character changed very quickly. Chris was a construction worker who began dating John, and soon claimed he was sexually harassing her. He later learned she was mentally ill from losing a husband and child in Vietnam. She kidnapped Donna's foster son Mikey, I think. Kevin and his sister (Gabrielle Carteris) had the drug story. Rick was the one who lasted the longer, with two actors (as so often seemed to happen with recurring AW roles, more than other soaps - 2, 3, 4, etc. actors in a role). He dated Julie Ann Edwards. I think they left town together (?).

victoria foxton
Great stuff Mac and Rachel were awesome. Loved Jamie & Vivian stopping Cecile. Early Donna looking fierce and fab. Liz's giggly demeanor was adorable, From what i've seen of 1983 and 1984 they looked like good years for AW. Members DRW50
From what I've seen 1983 was very good. It's a shame they didn't keep it going.
Members DRW50
I'd never seen this before. It's so cheesy but David Andrew Macdonald is so hot in it. Please register in order to view this content
Members NothinButAttitude
@DRW50, you've never seen that? Towards the end of the show, they played that cheesy clip after the episode (and before the credits) I guess to attract female viewers. I found it cringeworthy and still do. I noticed that even in this, this show was adamant in pushing Joseph Barbara/Joe Carlino.
Members adrnyc
I had clearly quit watching Another World at that point (around '95--'96 I think was when I let it go) and had never seen that video either. That is SUPER embarrassing. Very 90's too. Look at that ridiculous hair!
