That's just stupid. If people liked Cane but not Lily, they'd be clamoring for Lane to break up. Not supporting Lane.

If people liked Cane more than they liked any woman he's involved with, they'd just support that pairing all the more. Trust me. I speak from years of experience with fanbases, particularly GL's.

That's not true. A lot of people love Cane with Lily but hated him with Chloe.

Similarly, a lot of people love Billy, but wanted him far away from Lily.

Just because people like a character, doesn't mean they're going to support any character that's in their orbit. Look at the current Y&R thread - tonnes of people are saying they like Lauren, but want to "free" her by having the Baldwin-Fishers written off the show (God knows why).

It wasn't your posts that I was barfing at! It's the common denominator: Lily/Lane! Please excuse me, if my posts aren't as intelligent and thought provoking as yours.

It kinda is true, barf inducing Lame fans hated Chloe simply because she broke up their couple and folks wanted Lily far away from Miller so as not to bring him down like she did Goddard. Goddard was okay in the beginning and while he was with Frantz but as soon as he stepped into Lily's orbit. down he went. Needless to say, Miller was a breath of fresh air.
