I am just glad Sabrina is forgotten and that the last we've heard of her, she was being considered a dog. I forgot all about her, and there's no need to go there again.

You just know that they probably wouldn't write for Bassett, Rowell and Fox like they do for other characters. Having either of those ladies on the show would be great, but at the moment it seems impossible. Two are enjoying primetime and one isn't exactly a favorite of the cast.

I hate Adam. I haven't read spoilers but he's totally the type to purposely ruin his blindness to get out of jail. He's such a little wuss. Makes my skin crawl. No redeeming qualities at all, that one. So much worse than Jack.

Even though I knew that once the messenger came, Katherine left Nikki the ring. But when she unfolded the paper and the half-million dollar jewel rolled out, I still got the chills. I love this soap.

Same thing happened when Amber turned on the light and saw Clint dead. Totally got the chills.

I hope Lauren doesn't cheat on Michael and vice-versa. I'm sick of these love-quadrangles/triangles storylines. If these two break up, it must be because either one does something so vile, but ultimately in their nature, that it violates their mutual trust and respect. There are way too many people cheating on this show.

I wonder how Murphy will fit into the show when the storyline ends. I can't imagine K staying at the trailer or him moving into the mansion. That'd be weird. If it is, I hope they talk about it and Murphy doesn't just fit automatically.

You're right... look where it got Neil.

It would be too much of a character change if he did fit automatically, I'm sure they will go slowly with that one. They found gold in Murphy, so they shouldn't get rid of him later.

Queen was asking me about the Nielsen survey scores, those are usually confidential because they say a lot about the show as a whole and nobody wants negative information being leaked.

The Q scores are often shared with the actors when they're good. Melody was (and still remains) one of the higher rated daytime actresses.

Here I thought I was the only one that watches Y&R that thought this about these two! The same goes for Greg Rikaart and Emily O'Brien. The only female that GR had chemistry with was Adrianne Leon (I'm just glad that we didn't see a Colleen/Kevin pairing though).

I agree, with the Kevin debacle although I can't decide if it's the writing, GR or both because it was very well executed the first time around; perhaps it was too rushed this time. I was looking forward to it this time since it was so well done the first time around. The storyline with Katherine on the other hand has lasted forever and I appreciate them having an 80 year old in a front burner story but they've flip flopped on this way too much for my taste.

I'm not sure how Q scores are measured, but what is said to separate them from Nielsen scores is that the Q scores indicate how many people know about a given subject and also how they feel about the subject. The Nielsen scores only account for the size of the audience (however, the Nielsen surveys do same thing as a Q score).

They are still calculated for the Big 3 networks yearly by the company Marketing Evaluations Inc.

Well, obviously it doesn't work for everyone. Seems okay to me; the low point are the Winters.

He just said that Rikaart had chemistry with her, nothing else. Why the drama? There's no need for it.

As much as I, for example, like Kevin and Jana, I don't see too much chemistry there. Great actors, but the relationship ain't all that.

I totally agree!

For those interested about the Q score

"To calculate someone or something’s Q Score, Marketing Evaluations surveys a panel of US consumer households about their awareness and opinion of that person or thing. The Q Score is influenced by both people’s familiarity with the subject and their favorability toward it. The Q Score quotient is based by dividing the total percentage of respondents who say the celebrity is “one of their favorites” by the total percentage of the population or audience who are familiar with the celebrity."

As much as I do love Kevin and Jana, I agree on the chemistry and actually hope that part of the fallout from this story is them breaking up--as long as we don't lose Jana, because Emily continues to impress and show why she did deserve that Emmy Nom.

While I like the Kevin/Jana pairing, I do not think they share any chemistry as I said up thread. I don't want to lose EOB either because she's a heck of an actress; does anyone else think she and the Graz have more chemistry than she and Rikaart? Just as someone else said upthread though, Graz has chemistry with everyone.

Thanks for pointing that tidbit out and I completely agree!!
